After watching your playstyle I find myself looking for places like Dick's Diner (concrete wall t1 poi) for horde night. The other day my brother reminded me it was Day 5 and we hadn't started a horde base. It now slips my mind. He's also shocked at the amount of armor books we are pulling out but I have 1 point in robotics, lockpicks, physician and the rest are in attributes.
So something I learned very recently is just push the shift button one and still hold the throttle down and it will stay on sprint till you take the throttle off or hit shift again I think it is something in the new update that I never tried hope it helps ... great content and I hope you keep it up it makes my day to sit at lunch and watch you play one of my favorite games
I'm a little skeptical that trying to cheese the books so hard is worth the inventory fussiness when you're just maxing stuff out before you've gotten the nerd armor anyway... It feels like just saving up, say, vehicles and shotguns might be enough.
The way I've been doing it is just making the best nerd armor I can before reading anything. Then once I can make a better nerd armor I do. I do also save up some of the books, really mostly just forge ahead because of the lock picking nerf
Hey Prebuilt. I'm trying to figure out if the Preacher Gloves affect grenades, rocket launchers, and molotovs, but I'm having a difficult time setting up a repeatable test. Any advice on how to collect data on Preacher Gloves affecting explosives? I mean, they probably should, but this is the Fun Pimps and I don't take things for granted.
Are you going to make AP rounds? Does penetrator work for only rifles or smg and pistol also? I started using them and it seems like when I use them in my Desert V and smg the rounds hit the zombies behind them but in penetrator is says rifle rounds. Maybe I’m overthinking it
Check your books I believe the 9mm one gives something like close enemies have a chance to penetrate more than one enemy. But the DV is I believe a complete bonus from a book set. It makes all 44 rounds penetrate. Either way check out the books. They changed bonuses for complete some of them. 💜
I really wish they would go back to traders being random. I hate only having trader Rekt the whole game till I plan to move. even then I'm only trading Rekt for what ever trader the Biom I plan to move to is. I liked it better having a random trader. I know they want us to move to each biom when you progress. but honestly who leaves there stuff in their base and goes to the next biom? no one I know does this.
I've found it's best to just not setup a base until the burnt biome or desert. It takes like 2 days to grind the tier 1 jobs, and maybe 3 days to do the tier 2 in the burnt and getting the minibike then setup in the desert for like 7-10 days while grinding jobs and getting books for the motorcycle before moving to the snow when you clear the tier 3, then setup a solid horde base/living quarters, heck living in the wasteland tbh
hey IZ... i love your content, since you is good in find somethings in the code, can you explain how loot tables are affected on multiplayer? like only matters who opens the crate, or is based on the host or is on average?
one thing I am curious about... if you want to use a book store for armor books, couldn't you just buy 2 forgetting elixirs, take one, put all your points into stats only, then raid a book store for more armor books? I mean you wouldn't have any points in any abilities so wouldn't that reset the loot table in your favor? Then take the other when done and reset yourself?

The wanted to slow down the progression, but prebuilt is almost endgame on day 12

store_book_01, did a pass on reducing how many books were in the store section of the POI, removed about 40%

Armor Books are influenced by the points you put in the core attributes, Strength, Perception, Agility, etc. .
