****************
My HUGE Camino continues leaving the beautiful and peaceful Baztan to join the Via Verde del Bidesoa.
This is a tale of not enough coffee, getting lost, going backwards, getting lost again, finding the kindness of strangers before running down the freeway in the middle of a major sporting event.
Spectacular scenery, adventure and more ups and downs than I could have imagined.

LMHO Nick, it was like trying to find one of your Stores lol
Hahaha. If only they had yellow arrows instead of those confusing signs with with pictures of those nails but with the swirls on 😂😂
Sorry so funny
I laugh too now when I think back to it 😂😂
Get ready for some wet weather these next few days nick and buen camino vía Bidasoa (can catch salmon in that river)not this year though and .great video😂😂
Thanks Andrew. Ooohh I could eat some fresh salmon right now!! 😋
Such an eventful day.
Phew!! All because I didn’t get my morning coffee 😂😂
Well, this is certainly Nick Living Life! 😆👍
Or surviving it 😂😂
Loving it Nick! I find myself just sitting here smiling as I’m following along on your videos. Miss you man!
Miss you too buddy 😊
All gone Pete tong
😂😂
Salut Nick ! Have a nice trip 🦶🦶
Thanks very much Vince 😊
That area (Bidasoa - Biriatou) of the Pyrenees is really nice (well, I think it all is to be frank) but very quiet so you need to take your own caffeine! Lots of restaurants etc at Biriatou if you're going through there (it's a kind of mini Andorra where the French go to get cheap Spanish petrol, wine, etc).
It was lovely once I got off the busy roads. 😂
It’s like hidden Spain to me, going hours and hours without seeing anyone and soaking in all that natural beauty. It’s gorgeous 😊
@@NickLivingLife Oops, sorry, the mini Andorra is Ibardin (just before Biriatou). Pretty trails around there too. Have a good one.
Sooo funny - laughing here from my top bunk in Villafranca 😂
Villafranca already? Time is flying 😊. You must have done a thousand stretching exercises by now 😂
Are you loving Camino Rie? x
@@NickLivingLife it really is! 🥾 Really enjoying the camino , and experiencing the caminoMagic everywhere 🙏 the body has given in and I now just going along - about time! Off course also because of all the stretching exercises 😅
How’s the weather at yours? Here it could do better! 🌧️☁️
@@riedahlnielsen7592 it’s been torrential rain almost all the time for the past 5 days. My walk today was ankle and sometimes knee deep in mud. Slipped and on my butt several times today too. 😂😂
It can’t last forever. The sun is just doing some of its own stretches and then it will be out. 😊
No coffee? That makes get be the dealbreaker.
It was a struggle for me. I’ve been meaning to get myself down to 2 cups per day….and I had to there. 😂
@@NickLivingLife Nick, my husband and I start Camino Frances on the 7/1. If I don’t know I have 4 Cafe Bustelos awaiting me within 10 minutes, I’m not getting up. I need a strategy, huh?
@@courtnayzeitler8564 aaahhh. All will be well on the Frances. It’s never more than a few hours between coffee shops. You will LOVE it 😊😊
It looks quiet on the Baztan. Is it more popular with local/Spanish pilgrims than elsewhere? Still enjoying these videos.
I only saw Pilgrims from
Spain and Belgium while I was on it. It’s almost undiscovered. In some ways I feel guilty about showing it off.
It can only handle about 10 pilgrims per day at the moment, which is about double what I saw
