After the first couple of minutes I was going to say it wasn’t the most picturesque of your videos, but it did change pretty dramatically and some stunning views again.
Hehe. Thanks Nancy. I just finished the Camino del San Salvador and it was VERY remote in places. Had half a day editing today so I’m catching up on the videos again. I start doing the Frances backwards tomorrow
Hi Michael 👋 Yes, the Altra Lone Peaks came to the end of their life no longer offering support and shock resistance and causing foot pain after about 15-20km each day. So that I could make a “shoe vs shoe” video, I replaced the minimalist Altras with maximalist Hoka Soeedgoat 5. They are VERY different shoes, both with advantages over each other in different scenarios. Thanks for watching the videos. I really enjoy making them. 😊
@@NickLivingLife well, I made it to santiago but not on my own pins. It's just been too much for me with the two dogs and everything I need to pack for them. So, I'm postponing and trying to see what I need to change to make it work. Right now I'm doing a little recce by car then back to Andorra for the summer training, hopefully get rid of some pounds on the waistline and see if we can start in September
Thanks for sharing your Camino experience. I’ve been following you and in one of your episodes where you were in Santiago, you showed your Strava. In your Strava, you had cumulative results of distance, elevation gain, etc. over 28 days. How did you arrive at your cumulative results? I use Strava too and I couldn’t figure it out. I even reached out to Strava Support last week and have not heard back. Thanks in advance, Nick!
Hi Rafael, I’m not sure that’s me as I don’t use Strava. I have got information before from an app called Relive and also from the tracking done with apple phone/watch but I have no idea how Strava works. Best of luck and I hope you find a way to get the info you want. 😊
No worries Nick. Thanks for getting back to me. Buen Camino!
What a beautiful village!
It saved the day for sure. 😊

Yeah. Actually awful walk for the part of the day. All industry. It felt more like a DJ audits video at times. 😂😂
Hi Nick, missed you the last couple of days 🙂

Another beautiful video, Nick. Thanks a million for sharing your journey with us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The pleasure it’s all mine. I love that you are with me on it 😊😊
Did Dad make the pie😅on the pilgrims menu.
I hope you invested in a new umbrella☔ for next time you get lost😅😂.
Gorgeous village 💯😎
Amazing little village. One of the highlights of the Norte for me, certainly was a contrast after a day of asphalt to get there 😊😊
Hello Nick
Have you swapped out your shoes?
Really enjoying your videos.
Thanks.

Another great video Nick. Would really like to see the meals, not just hear how delicious they were 😅.😂
Hahaha. They don’t last long enough for me to remember to film them😂😂
How are you getting on? 😊

There are many years to do it my friend. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be with the dogs and all that extra weight.
Thanks for posting. I'm enjoying your vids. What pack are you carrying?
Thanks for watching Gregor. It’s an Atom Packs Atom +. It’s ultra light and almost waterproof 😊
