    Have you tried out Luke Blue? If so have you had any success with it at locals or tournaments? Cards that you have found that were different or helpful?

    I have been testing green luke bringing it to locals this week and are you using Tabletop simulator for your games?

      Nice. Green Luke is a good deck. It's a tough matchup for Blue Luke. I am using "Force Table". You use swudb to make the deck list, and there is a link to Force Table from there to test out decks

    Hey, I'm trying to decide which version of Luke to bring to my Store Showdown on Saturday. Would you bring your latest version of Blue Luke or Command Luke? I've got all the cards for either except for a Home One, which I don't think is super necessary and could just be replaced with something else like an extra Reinforcement walker or Colonel Yularen. Know of a few Boba's coming, some green and cunning and likely see Han, Iden and Green Sabine.

      Hey man. After testing out Luke Green a lot more. I would suggest playing Luke Green. Luke Green right now just has a lot better cards for the late game than Blue. You can still play Vigiliance in the main for 6 or play it in the sideboard strictly for control matchups. U-Wing Reinforcement and Home One are incredible at recovering your board state and closing the game out. Here is the most updated version. If you don't have Home One Reinforcement walker is a good replacement.
      Fleet lieutenant is absolutely necessary for closing the game out. Wing Leader is great to hit on a U-Wing Reinforcement and than play a fleet lieutenant on that same unit to close the game. Wing leader is not necessary in my opinion though, and could easily be switched out for Consortium Starviper in the mainboard if more lifegain in the mainboard feels better to you. R2-D2 takes the place of Colonel because digging for certain cards is extremely important with R2-D2 especially in the late game. It's also great turn 1 play with a shield.
      Echo Base is just better for Luke. You don't need ECL in this deck, and the 5 hp with all the life gain you play just makes your deck harder to play against. Devotion is a great cheaper way to gain life throughout the game in replacement of Vigilance in the mainboard. Can attach to cheaper units like R2-D2 to make them more relevant.
      Luke's Lightsaber is incredible to play on the Luke turn to attack in with Luke, and than make him a 7/8 with full HP and a shield aftewards.
      I would also recommmend watching the interview on "Max Tapera"'s channel called "Phillip Ritchie- 3rd Place Command Luke Deck profile". Phillip does a great job of explaining reasoning for certain cards. He beat Boba Fett 5 times in this tournament and explains how that is one of the decks easier matchups if you play it correctly.
      I would also suggest testing out your list on forcetable a few games against tougher matchups like Boba Green, and Vader Blue. Than I would suggest playing on "Karabast" where you can play against real people online. Not the best "aesthetics", and has some glitches but it's a great way to play test before a tournament.
      Here is my most updated List for reference. I just updated this yesterday. I played one game against one of the deck's tougher matchups online on "Karabast" against "Vader Blue", and beat them 30-13 for reference. Redemption, and U-Wing Reinforcement were big, and just making sure to play 2 units each turn so you can keep the pressure on, and make sure you have plenty of units in your hand for the "superlaser blast turn". The only card I am not sure about personally is Wing Leader over Consortium in the mainboard. If you play Consortium in the main board than I would put "2 Jedi Lightsaber" in the sideboard to help against aggro decks, which is what I am leaning towards myself but want to test more.
      Good luck!!

      @@SWUDAD awesome thanks for the explanation

    • @SWUDAD
      @SWUDAD  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@86Disab No problem, and the reason for potentially having Consortium in the main board is just to make sure that you have that aggro matchup chalked down as a Win. Boba Fett and Control are the more difficult matchups, but aggro can still have those big damage turns and adding in Consortium in the mainboard just ensures that you are going to win that matchup and than sideboard is mainly for Control or midrange matchups
      Aggainst Aggro, and even Boba Fett it feels great to go Restored-Arc into Consortium Starviper and immediately have two units that have Restore. Than turn 3 go into Bright Hope or Echo Base Defender and put a shield on it.

    Bendu as most of one army units will be just waylayed by Boba and game is over.

    • @SWUDAD
      @SWUDAD  6 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely, but you don't want to rely on Bendu to win the game. Bendu is a card that can help you have a big momentum swing if it is able to stick on the board, but by no means is the only way to win that matchup. There are definitely several other ways to beat Boba Green, which is why it is a favorable matchup. Shield is very good at trading with their units and protecting you against overwhelming barrage. Jedi lightsaber, and the force is one are huge at taking out Boba's on the ground, and the suttle life adds up throughout the game and keeps you in the race. Bendu as a turn 5 play if it sticks on the board is able to swing the game heavily in your favor with Luke shield synergy. Either way you are causing them to use a removal spell instead of getting more units on the board. You really want to focus on damaging their base until you get your big life gain swing/removal with Vigilance or Skywalker.
      Life gain, Shield, being aggressive with Force Lietuenant/Wing Leader/Force is One, Bendu as a brickwall sentinel on the Luke turn, and Vigiliance all help you to win this matchup. They don't have a ton of life gain in this matchup so being aggressive against them can be very advantageous.
      Boba Cunning is the more difficult matchup because they are preventing us from gaining life by exchausting, and waylaying our units. They are also the more aggressive deck so if we are unable to pace their aggression they can tempo us out.
      But agreed waylay is one of the tougher cards to play against. In the sideboard you are definitely bringing in "Regional Governor" and naming Waylay for this exact reason. Perhaps adding in "Baze Malbus" in the sideboard as another sentinel to have earlier in the game, and force them to use a waylay on this instead or trade with units earlier would be helpful as well. I added in 2 and took out elecrostaff in my sideboard. You are also bringing in "Vanquish" from the sideboard for the Boba Green matchup as well to deal with bigger units
