@@VeiledShotSWU agree. to get the hera/spectre deck running, you have to get them on the board. Choosing a discarding a bomb from you opponent's hand is good, but costs too much pace
I think what will be interesting to watch moving forward with leaders like Hera is their ability to play mono color decks while pulling from other colors to round out the mono weakness. For example you can do ECL Hera and run command and still round out the roster with other stuff. The reason its not compelling right now is that hero green is already a bit meh, and only command is a really good double green card. With a better pool of double green cards and broader range of spectres, I think youll see big power increases for her over time with a really unique ability in that regard (mono green, but not)
I am currently building and testing out a Hera deck that is doing remarkably well at the moment. I opted not to go with an aggro approach, but I went with more ambush cards and playing it almost like a Casino Hera. My u-wings I use to throw out either Mace, Han, or Luke. I use You're My Only Hope to drop out various ambush cards. Frontline Shuttle is amazing because it acts as a sentinel. Either your opponent has to waste a turn taking it out, or you defeat it and attack with an exhausted unit. Kanan can mill for twice the amount. It's fun because as my opponent looks at dealing with Spectre, all of the sudden they are getting non-stopped ambushed for the rest of the game. Hera and Ghost beef up Sabine and Kanan. Fun nasty little deck. But yeah, I realized you have to basically play 2 different strategies with Hera at the moment.
Very nice deck, Hera was one of the decks I wanted to build when starting the game. But I don’t have a playset of all Specters… I would really like to see a double blue villainy deck, though. Struggling to build a viable one 😅
really wanted to get hera/aggression working, but I just never could get it running regularly. When it hits, it's a ton of fun - you're milling, healing, shielding, and giving XP - but I found it has too many fragile pieces to get going reliably. Plus it just hurts basically not having a leader until 6. Hera should come out at 5. Or stay at 6 and have an in-game action on her leader side. Maybe instead of unique units, her leader side can boost spectres only.
She isn't really that great to ramp into, a pretty mediocre body with an ability that comes on 5 resources on something like Tarkin that also requires more specific units.

Feel like Spark of Rebellion should be in any Hera deck, its a Spectre card and lets you rip any card from your opponents hand for 2.
It's solid, but just taking a card from an opponent's hand really matches up poorly in some games, which is why it's in the side.

Got a list?
John Snow!
Keep up the good work
I'd be curious to see a Tarkin Blue deck. I've been trying to hone my personal Tarkin Blue but could use some suggestions
NICE! thoughts on a Hera blue with lukes/ sabers?
Nice deck bro! Greetings from Chile
Hope to see a Cassian deck soon, I´m not sure if I should go Green or Yellow base yet
I prefer yellow! I was working on a list for this!

Double blue Iden works pretty solid! Maybe a future video...

I generally agree! Having her at 5 or perhaps even 4 would be a massive improvement.
"Her backside is the only real thing that we can talk about, in terms of Hera herself"
I'm with ya man
Haha!
Hello can u upgrade this deck with set 2 cards ??
How much for this build in basic rarity?
You’re missing one of the Spectre cards. Karabast!
I KNEW I was missing one of them! Good catch, that one is pretty forgetable, haha.
@@VeiledShotSWU yeah I don't think it has a great place in a spectre deck at the moment. It can SLAP in Chirrut/aggression, though!
Blue cards would cost extra?
Hera's ability lets you ignore the out of aspect extra cost if the card you're playing has the Spectre keyword. =)
Hera would have been a great mill/fatigue deck if her aspect is blue instead of green.
why not play resupply to ramp her

Ways to play Hera: Play all the spectre cards in the game. That’s it. 🫠
Kinda all we got right now :P
