i mean i would assume she would be considered a variant from birth/creation. which kinda explains why she says shes been running from them her whole life. i also suspect she might not be telling the complete truth. i dont think shes asgardian.
Two theories One: Loki took the time stone cuz that’s the only one he picked up in episode 1 and the way the thing came back together looked like he reversed time Two: Loki probably could fix the tempad just like he made himself dry from the rain and is just stalling with sylvie to find more about her
Or maybe Mobius comes to save them and they become a trio.. it kind of makes sense. He starts to question the tva and maybe episode 4 is mainly about him.
Time Stone theory makes no sense. If he had it, he could simply reverse time back to when they still had the TemPad and a whole bunch of plotholes revolving around the fact that he could've used the stone to do so many more things.
How does Tom Hiddleston always have amazing chemistry with pretty much everyone? An absolute gift! I also love the Sylvie character, hope she sticks around!
I don’t have one favourite moment but I loved seeing Loki using more and more of his powers. Hopefully they keep that up cause this episode is still barely scratching the surface of what he should be able to

I am already looking forward to next week.
imagine mobius telling loki to say thunder after loki says it he asks why are u requesting me to say this? then mobius looks at the camera and says CAUSE THUNDER COMES AFTER LIGHTING KACHAO!
I wonder if the conversation at the beginning between Sylvie and the tva agent about brain freezes freezing memories is connected to how the tva is altering the minds of the variants to work for them
I thought the song he sang was to catch her out, that she was not Asgardian or who she says she is, because she wasn’t reacting to what he was singing.
Maybe it's already been said, but the whole Loki being bi and fluid has a lot of context in norse mythology. For instance, he once transformed himself into a female horse, mated with a male horse, and gave birth to Sleipnirr, Odin's 8-legged horse, who was featured for a quick sec in Thor 1
@lacedtaco216 Disney wouldn't have allowed that ..they recently only started to put PG13 stuffs step by step.. including lgbtq implications and characters.

I'm leaving a like just for the blind wave joke. The reactor youtube community is actually a really sweet and wholesome group and I love that my favourite ones are all friendly with each other!!
Also, all these theories and comments about Loki having the Time Stone - he's telekinetic. He's shown it before (last episode with the Roomba and in The Dark World when he destroys his cell). I don't think it's anything at all to do with the stone and is just him using his own powers.
Idk why, but I feel like Sylvie took the role of "Loki" from the loki of her timeline and was enchantress. Maybe her loki was a variant she cared about that the TVA "reset"? Might explain why shes so hostile cause he's not her Loki, and why she wants to take the TVA down. I hope we see more of these two together!

I don't get how some people call this episode a "filler" episode. A filler episode is an extra episode that doesn't advance the plot or story in anyway. If you watched something like Naruto, you would know what I'm talking about. This episode, is not a filler episode. Just because the TVA wasn't involved as much in this one episode doesn't mean it's a filler. The show is about Loki or the Lokis and it shows that. It also shows the different timeline that the TVA is preserving as well as advancing story plots such as Sylvie's revelation about the TVA agents origin. They did it brilliantly too, in a casual conversation between two strangers getting to know each other. They may get saved in the end sure but you have to see their struggle first and how they get to that point. And this episode showed that. To the people complaining there are a lot of talking this episode, that's entirely Loki's point. He is a talker, manipulator but in this show we're seeing not just the manipulator, God of mischief we already know, but we're seeing just, Loki. Personally, this show just keeps getting better and better. The cinematography and world building alone is epic. Even their danger timeline they emerge in has a story to tell. Glorious.
Well not exactly. Playing it back I forgot to specifically say Death Star. But I was talking about the aesthetic and all that in the orbit with the destruction similar to Star Wars. SO DAMN IT! Didn’t specify it even though that’s what I’m referencing haha
Something I loved about this episode is seeing Loki just embrace the asgardian side of himself. Something he was always afraid to show or acknowledge, but its like after seeing what came from his darker ambitions in the 1st. episode, he now carries this sense of appreciation (if not at least a little bit.) To where he is able to yell "anotha" with a bit of excitement. Then again, this could just be a throwback scene, but the acting alone got me thinking this which just shows the the strength of the writing and performances. So can next week? come any sooner. Also how about that one-shot? whoo!
Calling it now: Loki's going to end up falling for Sylvie (and possibly saving her/sacrificing himself for her at the end of the series) and it's going to be some kind of meta commentary about learning to love himself. Literally. I'm also going to theorize that Mobius is either 1) a variant pulled from the '90s (hence the jet ski fascination that he doesn't even know why he has) or 2) a true believer, possibly the original TVA agent and the only one they actually did create. Either way, he's going to be crushed when he learns the truth and will turn on Renslayer.
People change and grow so it wouldn’t be odd if he did. He’s been changing since Thor 1 so this could be a real turning point. I hope he doesn’t die ... again, tho. But with the first episode focusing on Loki and him questioning his life and patterns that he keeps repeating, he might just surprise us with this series
I think we got a brief moment of nature vs nurture with the Loki and Sylvie moment. Loki was brought up in wealth with a family and taught magic. Whereas with Sylvie it sounds like she didn't have much of anyone or anything but managed to still teach herself "basic" magic.
I saw an article that tom Hiddleston said episodes 4 and 5 bring us into uncharted territory and do things that he didn’t expect so it’s probably for sure going to get crazy next episode
What if Sylvie is the reason magic doesn’t work at the TVA? What if she was an agent but her magic allowed her to get her memories back and when she tried to confront someone about it she was attacked, she then escaped and the Time Keepers blocked all magic to prevent it happening again and Sylvie is trying to free everyone there and stop the Time Keepers, it would explain why she didn’t know that magic didn’t work at the TVA, magic only became unavailable after she left and without going there again she would have no idea magic was blocked which is why she attempted to use her magic on the first agent she saw. I also think that she might teach Loki how to do it because Loki seems to have more magic prowess, what if they find a way to allow magic back in the TVA (I.e. there is a machine blocking magic and they destroy it), then Loki uses the mind magic/enchantment Sylvie has on all TVA agents at once (e.g. Sylvie needs to have contact with people to make it work, maybe Loki wouldn’t need to because his magic ability is stronger or he is able to use his duplicates that he spent time to explain about in episode 2).
Guys notice that when Loki "fixes" the tower that was falling down on them, he didnt use telekinesis, he actually reversed time, as he fixed it. He might have the time stone
I like how you talked about what actually happened in the episode and what the creators were going for instead of jumping straight into theories like a lot of reactors.
I watched this episode after rewatching a bunch of movies and all I could hear when Sylvie said she “maintained a relationship with a postman” was Nick Fury singing in Captain Marvel
Is is bad that I can see Loki dating an alternate version of himself? I always thought that the only thing that could charm him was himself. Remember, this was still the Loki during Avengers (2012), he is still narcissistic, a trait that mellowed down in years of personal pain and growth.
I don’t feel like Loki falling for another version of himself should be the end goal if that makes sense? His character is going towards being someone who can actually trust others, and being in a relationship with another version of himself just seems like it would go against his development.
@@bluexy121 Not really. Because Slyvie is very different to him anyway. If he learned to fall for her, he would learn to experience growth and love a lot sooner which is something he always feared
I kind of thought maybe the woman whose door was kicked down was an older version of Sylvie, living out her life quietly (like Steve) near an apocalypse so she's not detected and so she can prevent or steer the younger versions of herself from or towards her sacred timeline...
Time Stone makes no sense. Why would he just use it to reverse a falling building and not back to when they still had the TemPad device. This is a reach.
I have a feeling he pocketed at least the tesseract or a time stone and forgot about it or something all he would have to do is escape the TVA and he'd be able to use to stones wherever, whenever
14:24 Their memories were probably tampered with- not erased. That’s probably why Casey didn’t know what a fish was. Also (unrelated) but if loki could turn back time and prevent the ting from falling, why didnt he turn back time and stop the arc from falling?
Gotta appreciate the Variant Jackets Greg and John wear :) Plus that one-shot scene towards the end of the episode was really well directed, props to Kate Herron and others.

@@RealogOnlyBrodie same, basically we cant tell the difference between normal loki and drunk loki becoz he is always chaotic
Two theories
One: Loki took the time stone cuz that’s the only one he picked up in episode 1 and the way the thing came back together looked like he reversed time
Two: Loki probably could fix the tempad just like he made himself dry from the rain and is just stalling with sylvie to find more about her
Or maybe Mobius comes to save them and they become a trio.. it kind of makes sense. He starts to question the tva and maybe episode 4 is mainly about him.
Time Stone theory makes no sense. If he had it, he could simply reverse time back to when they still had the TemPad and a whole bunch of plotholes revolving around the fact that he could've used the stone to do so many more things.
i would take both theories working simultaneously
Another theory, Sylvie is inside Loki's head and everything after the point where she touched Loki isn't real.
maybe he just has a little time reversal magic in him...but ya I like yours better
How does Tom Hiddleston always have amazing chemistry with pretty much everyone? An absolute gift! I also love the Sylvie character, hope she sticks around!

That's some big brain energy right there
I wonder if the conversation at the beginning between Sylvie and the tva agent about brain freezes freezing memories is connected to how the tva is altering the minds of the variants to work for them
I think that was just a bunch of bs to trick the TVA agent into telling Sylvie about the time keepers.
@@user-py2fx5wp1o Could be, but in a meta sense I see it being some form of foreshadowing.

Also, all these theories and comments about Loki having the Time Stone - he's telekinetic. He's shown it before (last episode with the Roomba and in The Dark World when he destroys his cell). I don't think it's anything at all to do with the stone and is just him using his own powers.
Thank you! It’s 100% not the time stone

Idk why, but I feel like Sylvie took the role of "Loki" from the loki of her timeline and was enchantress. Maybe her loki was a variant she cared about that the TVA "reset"? Loki and Sylvie sharing their life stories about wanted to be Prince/Princesses lol.
Glorious.
That Blind Wave joke floored me!!!
No body going to talk about how when the moon split into two it looked like the death star.

Also how about that one-shot? whoo!

This show turned Loki into one of my favorite character’s.
I hope he doesn’t die ... again, tho. But with the first episode focusing on Loki and him questioning his life and patterns that he keeps repeating, he might just surprise us with this series
no because ur probably right. also calling Mobius dying because we can’t have good paternal figures in the mcu
I think we got a brief moment of nature vs nurture with the Loki and Sylvie moment. Loki was brought up in wealth with a family and taught magic. Whereas with Sylvie it sounds like she didn't have much of anyone or anything but managed to still teach herself "basic" magic.
u guys litterally just said how i watch loki:
-loki ep 3
- reel rejects loki ep 3
- blindwave loki ep 3
Imagine if Loki got some spare Time stone in his pocket
The best moment from *Loki* “ANOTHER” , just like his brother. Told ya we gonna see how powerful *Loki* is, like his telekinesis
Maybe the TVA is in the quantum realm
The back and forth between them is glorious
Guys notice that when Loki "fixes" the tower that was falling down on them, he didnt use telekinesis, he actually reversed time, as he fixed it. He might have the time stone
The time keepers knew she would kill them so they have been Sarah Connering her
I like how you talked about what actually happened in the episode and what the creators were going for instead of jumping straight into theories like a lot of reactors.

0:06 the sad part is that I totally wasn't taking your video as an "oh blind wave hasn't uploaded yet I guess I will watch this video".
Is is bad that I can see Loki dating an alternate version of himself? I always thought that the only thing that could charm him was himself. Remember, this was still the Loki during Avengers (2012), he is still narcissistic, a trait that mellowed down in years of personal pain and growth.
Well, Selvie isn’t Loki. At least in the comics she was the Enchantress.
Maybe the MCU changed it so that she is an alternate Loki. Don’t fully know.
@@Justin-ui5ti from what I gather they combined enchantress with lady loki
I can eventually see Loki taking "Love yourself" to a whole 'nother level

Time Stone makes no sense. Why would he just use it to reverse a falling building and not back to when they still had the TemPad device. This is a reach.
I have a feeling he pocketed at least the tesseract or a time stone and forgot about it or something all he would have to do is escape the TVA and he'd be able to use to stones wherever, whenever
