- My Perfect #BMW M3 Touring arrives! 😈 Welcome back to RBR and it’s #NewCar day guys! Having owned over a dozen C63 AMGs, this would normally be when I would consider buying the new one - But I don’t think I’ll be getting a 4 cylinder hybrid anytime soon, after my review of that car!
My journey to the M3 Touring started back when I was involved in the car’s first Teaser video in the “M Town Drop” - with BMW CEO Marcus famously sitting in the boot, I got to see the car very early on! Despite having the E63 Wagon and Taycan ST in the house - this car was compelling enough to bring into the RBR fleet.
The spec of totally unexpected for me too - I had originally spec’d the typical Frozen Grey look with red interior, as shown in the press car - but a friend’s M3 inspired me to go totally balls to the wall! 🤓 I’ve chosen the individual colour of Aventurine Red Metallic, alongside the Silverstone and Black two tone interior. I also spec’d up the “Ultimate Pack” in the UK, which gives you the epic carbon buckets along with a host of other options.
FYI: I’ll be going through every UK package in the video too including the technology plus pack, comfort pack, and M Pro Package.
I’m collecting the car today from BMW Berry in Croydon, South London, with the infamous “TRL” Tony Lewis! Bought every BMW I’ve ever had from these guys, but even I didn’t get a discount on the Touring thanks to the wait list! 🤣 Regardless, they’re extremely professional especially when things go wrong, and also throw in freebies to sweeten the deal - can’t recommend highly enough: / trldeals
Today I’ll be travelling on train to Croydon, we’ll go over the spec there and then bring the car back home to have a proper drool over it! :)

The day when Raz collected the ultimate M car, you know something was very wrong at Mercedes right now, albeit with too many electrified gizmo going on.
"Mr. AMG" has finally become "Master M"
After owning many AMG and Black Series cars, I got the G80 M3 for my daily, as for the most part (not all) . Mercedes have become soulless.

@@AD-ge1bz Affects BMW and others too, not only Merc who have chosen a completely different trajectory.
It's not for Merc it's for Ferrari and other companies too. Generally 8 cyl V8 don't meet requirements so it's either 4 cyl or 6cyl. Bmw are lucky that they have a good 6cyl platform, Merc do too but idk why they didn't use it maybe cuz of requirements again... In the end everyone will go 4cyl just a matter of time
@@suhail1200 Mercedes has the M256 which they could have used but for some reason decided against. It's no B58 but it's a very nice alternative that definitely deserved more use than they got out of it imo.
Will soon replace the two Mercedes in the garage with two BMWs. My wife and I are car people. From down sizing engine displacement, and soon forcing EVs on us, we have had enough. Not to mention the fake exhaust tips! BMW is not falling for the rush to have everyone drive EV.
Agreed. Some questionnable looks, but BMW aren’t cowering to the legislations and still catering to the enthusiasts.
This is probably the best M3 Touring I've seen, the color, interior.. it all just connects 🙌🏽🙌🏽, you specced it well

AMG never made a better driving car than the M3. Not once. The C63 was better in sound, yes, but not in driving, which is the real deal. Remember how the Top Gear trio agreed on the fact that the E90 M3 is better than the C63? Exactly.
@@islamtoghuj Not in the segment but I’m positive a GTR PRO would drive way better than an new M4 CSL.
@@CincySupercar the GTR Pro unfortunately was sold out tho, while the CSL is still have some availability

Congrats. Really keen to hear how you find the new instrument / info display and reduced number of physical controls - I wasn’t a fan when I sat in one but it’s the real life experience that matters.

I have a Saloon with Ultimate Pack and ceramics. Can't wait for my 992 GTS to arrive. Car is way too stiff for a daily.

Congrats, this brings back memories. I have the M4 Comp Xdrive Convertible, picked up December just gone and very similar spec. Black on black though. Amazing cars and hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine!
Nice to see you with my man Tony Mr TRL deals at Berry BMW Croydon. I know hes massively looked after you. The shear ability to even get a hold of an m3 touring is just a testament to what Tony does. And my hes delivered. You've specced this perfectly raz ultimate pack,aventurin red exterior with the Silverstone white interior is bright and bold against that paintwork. Perfect combo. I love this.
I get mine in September, been waiting 18 months…. Colour wise I’ve gone old school…. Techno violet with Ivey white leather, full ceramics, full carbon pack, ordered a CSL bonnet, front bumper & wheels (used my M4 CSL chassis number to get these👌) which will be painted & fitted before collection, in total £113.869😳🙄

The fact you don't have in your contract of sale when buying a new Mercedes "include a full tank" is a simple oversight on your behalf, I got a full tank when I bought mine, and every time I had it serviced or work done. Filled up!
Tony is a total asset to BMW and Berry. The very best buying experience I've had in every way, even though mine was the poor man's version in B58 flavour...

Yes!!! Had a feeling this was coming given the C63 downgrade! What a Sunday treat for us Raz, great to see Tony on your channel as well. As far as the color, the red didn't seem to be a Raz color but love the interior color. I know my i4 M50 isn't a nearly full M product, but this still makes me want to say welcome to the club - of course, the Laser lights , carbon fiber trim and 50th M badges (I have all these) - great choices - I am so glad given the delay in my car - i was able to fall into that March - to March period. Looking forward to the videos with this car!
P.S. Yes those seats, though a bit awkward to get in and out of, so damn comfortable and yes, love the digital key features. Don't need to have the key on hand if I just need to run to the car real quick etc. Such a great feature.

Near on identical how I would configure mine if I was to get one. Only differences I would go for is black calipers, tan comfort seats and have the wheels refurbed in silver.

What a beautiful colour combo. The hype was black ages ago. Then red on white at some point after 2007 or 2008 or so. But this white on red definitely works like bread and butter
I'd say modify the inner grille piece for thr CSL style one like Imran did on Evolve Automotive. Then its perfect
Funny you say that I think it works a lot better on coupes opposed to longer slimmer vehicles. That kind of grille is so outlandish only a sports coupe could make it look half decent

You can enable proximity detector on your vehicle, and it will automatically unlock when you approach to the car with your phone in your pocket. No need to put it in the wireless charger to turn the car on either. Just sit and drive. I have it on my x5 and I love it!

KW H.A.S. is a must. I have them on my G87 and the ride quality is great. Get it lowered by an inch and get spacers to finish off the look.
Can I ask, how do you find the insurance with these (admittedly mild) mods? I gave up changing my old M4 from stock simply because it made the insurance a nightmare.
Personally I'll still stick to AMG. Out the box M cars aren't the best unless u tune them. City driving/ lower gears / daily driving its not as smooth. Especially a new car I'm not thinking to tune since it's under warranty.

Congrats bro! Has to be ultimate pack, got it on my x6m competition and wouldn't get anything less now! Just wish they made an Msport inspired crystal gear stick! Surprised no tv entertainment on the back of the seats in your ultimate pack, is it because they are bucket seats?

very nice, now you must treat it to a decent audio upgrade, because as we all know for all the great features they install in high end cars the audio always falls woefully short.
