you need an electric in 300 ft. Should not call your self fishermen
Why do so many guys on RUclips have their drags set so low that you can pull line out that easily? You're not using 7x tippet on a fly rod. Set the drag to the pound test of the line. Decent halibut.
Nice trip, too bad limit the Reds to two. I miss the old days, no sizes and limits. But I can see their reason for it. My biggest sheepshead to this day 25 pounds many years ago.

Loved the video man! Brings back memories when I used to go on charter trips with my dad back in 2012-13. Dad recently passed away dec 26th 2023 and he lived and breathed fishing doing 7-14 day trips smacking blue fin and yellow tail.
