I have fished professionally for the last 20 Years and now I am taking you along with me as a passenger to see what its like to Practice and Fish Bass Tournaments on the West Coast where we frequently fish in 100 plus Degree weather on our Desert Lakes of Arizona and Nevada. When I am not fishing tournaments, You will find me on the Ocean in my Parker Boat Chasing Bluefin Tuna or Running Charters for my Company Trident Sportfishing. Out here you will have a front row seat in the Cockpit or up in the Tower where you will feel like you are on the Boat with us as we Catch, Camp, and Cook our way to Awesome Adventures on the Pacific Ocean, Please like and Subscribe!
Catching Bluefin on my Charter Boat
Welcome to a day on the water with @TridentSportfishing as we head west with our Charter in search of Bluefin Tuna. We take our Parker 2520 65 miles west in between Santa Barbara Island and San Nicholas Island where we find the Big Bio Mass of Whales and Dolphin and Large Grade Bluefin Tuna, on this day we have a group new to fishing where they were looking to cross off a Large triple digit Tuna off of their Bucket list. Will we succeed? Lets See?!

We were out Bluefin Tuna fishing off the Coast of California and We just had one of those days on the water Blow up after blow up after blow up on the kite with nothing to show for it. The Bluefin Tuna had our number on this day. As we called it a day and were heading in for port I get a glimpse of a whitewater a mile away and pointed the Parker in that direction and BAM!

let your arm straight out, grab the rod at highest point of the eva grip, not at the reel base, pump and then reel, will make it easier on spinning gears, and less wear on the gears
Loved the video man! Brings back memories when I used to go on charter trips with my dad back in 2012-13. Dad recently passed away dec 26th 2023 and he lived and breathed fishing doing 7-14 day trips smacking blue fin and yellow tail. Now I’m just saving up a bit for a couple half day trips here just to bring back memories♥️🙏🏼 and possibly even buy a center console in the future🙏🏼

Why do so many guys on RUclips have their drags set so low that you can pull line out that easily? You're not using 7x tippet on a fly rod. Set the drag to the pound test of the line. Decent halibut.
@@davkrat5I’m using 25lb test fluoro and 30% of that is 7.5lbs of drag. That Halibut was over 30lbs. How tight do you set your drags at?
