  • Part 3 is dedicated to interoperate the results and also verifying it. For many of you might happened that you are not sure if the results are reliable or not. Well here you can see how to check it;). This tutorial is intended to show you how to model a reluctance motor and calculate the Magnetic field and Current in the stranded coils. The motor in this example has 4 phase and each phase has 2 poles (coils)

    @kamyar K How should one design outer rotor SRM motor from scratch if there is no option available in Maxwell(user defined primitive)

    I'm trying to model a dual stator synchronous generator using this video but I have problems with excitations.
    I want to arrange those coils to be in three phases.

    Hi , why do you use magnetostatic study ? is juste to show current denisyt ? because in SRM we need to simulate with AC excitation or pulse I think

    Hi Mr Kamyar,
    How to know that motor will rotate or not.
    And if rotate,will it it stop at desire location or step angel?

    Hi there and thanks for the good work. I was wondering if you have anything on how to compute the thermal losses in your motor. Is this something that Ansys Maxwell can do?

    +kamyar K thanks for the amazing content and all the help to the community!
    Some of the other viewers have also asked this, could you create a video explaining how to obtain the inductance profile for the SRM while the rotor rotates? (i.e the L vs theta). Also how we can obtain the flux linkage? (i.e the flux vs current plot for various rotor position). If you do decide to do that, it would be a great help!

    All child observation with animation in the engine for circle and half figure in the form of drawing on a maxwell used by my teacher. (time dependent flux lines magnetic field patient etc.)
    However; validation checks by turning them into full circles and editing the patterns. (Minimum estimated from the following limits: numerical potential, balloon(single)symmetry.))) error is preventing me from doing the animation. this error exchange happens in the form of a circle and a semicircle in the form of a full circle. Could you help with this issue?

    When I tried to put the values for the region as you did, I got an error like "The center of the polygon and the origin are not on the same plane XY". Then I went for the region from "Draw". It worked but the results are a bit different from yours.After integration I got the current value same as yours.How can I correct the error as I wrote?
    Thank you

    Hey, first I want to thank you for doing this, second I would like to ask you if you know the answer to this problem: I have a long conductor near a plate, in a box (the box makes the background) and the 2 heads of the conductor end on two of the box's faces. Now i put even symetry on the two faces, and the current through the conductor of 100 A. I analyze it and when i want to see B_vector it shows nothing, like there is no energy. What should I do? The application is made in eddy current. I look forward for your answer.

    • @kamyark8434
      @kamyark8434  9 лет назад

      it depends who yuo defined the box. there is a chance that the grounded box is absorbing all the energy. is it the case?

    • @tigruzzu
      @tigruzzu 9 лет назад

      ***** actually it was a problem with the program...the application was made for an earlier version of maxwell, so i solved the problem by putting odd symetry on the two faces instead of even. 10x anyway ;) nice tutorials.

      you have to add the torque as parameters that maxwell should calculate. if you need to further work with that you can then export it to the simplorer. please watch 215-217;)
