@@jackoff1826 Idk why people think doing thsi is silly, its more than capable. I have a Key West 263 with dual 300s on it and I've done shit just this stupid and I was totally fine, and its not as capable as your boat and it still did great.
I was going to say I'm always seeing ppl comment on these videos things like "The captain has all that power why not use it?" Yet here we see a captain actually using those engines and everyone's all like "Why's he doing that?!?!?!"
that is so cool!! rest assured that i do the exactly same when the conditions are right. life is a one lap affair. rayther have fun than fear.once its over its over.
Hes having fun. Heavy on the throttle light on his feet, bent knees and firm grip. He is sending it. Glad for him. He is riding and attacking the waves.
I had a small Donzi 16 back in the 70s and it took a beating from the owner before me, from myself, and the owner after me. I owned or followed the little beast for 15 yrs. and it was cosmetically and structurally 💯% the whole time. It was ridden hard and often. Back then most fiberglass boats (Definitely Donzi) were way over built. And yes, it fun to pretend you are a giant flying fish dancing in the waves.😎
You can always spot a Native Miami Boater. Pulling in those Fenders is just way too much trouble for them. Looking at the bigger picture, when you can't take time to handle the smallest of tasks you can be assured the important stuff is neglected too. They're concerned with sub woofers and tramps. Forget the rest.
He is doing it because he can and he enjoys it. Why not, if you can afford it. It looks cool. LOL I would be more conservative to have less maintenance on a boat, if I had one. He was by himself as well. No nanny girlfriend holding him back.
@@BoatZone Ive done shit about that crazy in my 239 Key West with two 300s, its not as capable as this boat and it was fine. Modern boats are REALLY good at rough seas, this isn't the 80s

@@rona8663 yeah, always good to look at girls...but after a while, fake body parts all look the same and it gets a bit old. The couple of shots of girls on the beach is enough for me to get that fix.
Naw, I've got a Velocity 290SC also...they're crazy fun and built tough. This one in the video is a big 109mph jet ski basically. Velocity's best selling model.
I think is a Velocity 290SC model, it's like a 26 foot haul, with that HP I believe this one can get up to 109mph in the right conditions. Very awesome boat.
Yes he did, he went out just to test something out about the boat, according to him, and came back in to his dock. He said he didn't feel like taking it off and back on just to go out and back real quick.
He's got the engines tilted WAY up so the front end rides higher. His problem is he's at the bounce point, a certain point at which the engines are tilted which creates a constant front end bouncing, even in no waves and at higher speeds can cause loss of control. He's also driving like a jackass!!! Too much upward tilt can be very dangerous, as this fellow demonstrates perfectly!!!👎😡🙏🙏🙏
Is he intentionally trying to flip the boat?
At least he had a fender out on the starboard side, so when TowBoat/US shows up for the salvage they won’t scratch the gelcoat.
I've got a Velocity 290SC, which is this same boat in the video...they are crazy fun and like a big jet ski. Have that fun if you want.
I think you got a new camera. Looks great
@Max B That boat is more than capable in these conditions. They are litterally built to race in rough weather

When not going 109mph in optimal conditions...at least those Velocity 290's are fun to throw around in the waves.

Good to see he had his fender out.. safety first!
Looks like he’s just enjoying not having anyone else bouncing around.
4:16 That’s gotta be one of the coolest looking boats I’ve seen on here yet!
this is how legends are made
Old mate who was first up killed it
Flopping fenders Batman! Is that the latest craze. Kinda like leaving the tags on hats🤣

the sweet 16!

Beautiful newer Velocity but take in the darn fenders!
Whaddya mean why?
Cuz it's a blast!!
I used to do that with my Formula 272 all the time!!
And I thought we weren’t gonna get a bum shot then right at the end !!!! Lol
AWSOME !!!!
Nice way to break bulk-heads and stringers!!

Best part the end 😂😀
Alot of these people have no idea what some trim and a little bit of power do. This guy at 9:51 does.
Credit card captains or throttle Jockeys
He was actually going slower than most of the other boats to ride the swell instead of trying to smash trough it or power over it.
he YOLO'D bigtime!
Because YOLO!
LOL
Just checking the limits 😎

Oh thank you 🙏🏻
Omg he's having fun, whyyyyy
I love the boat literally says saks on the side flying a Mexican cartel flag on the boat too.
That dude must have a good chiropractor
Are his motors properly trimmed?
I can see the Facebook marketplace ad now, slightly used velocity twin outboards no low-ball offers I know what I got. Gently used, never ran hard.
Boattrade too ahahah
This boat wasn't even slightly stressed doing this.
LOL just screw the Facebook part and all good 😂😂😎

What was the thing on the canoe that had 2 wheels?
When he gets to land the wheels strap to the bottom so he doesn't have to carry the boat.
it must be, the smaller their "weener", the more outboards they seem to have on their boats
Because he can

Why? To try to keep the bottom clean - the hard way!

Still has the Canadian flags hanging over the side...

1st guy. What kind of doofus leaves out his bumpers? Other than that, not bad.
bumpers attach to the dock.fenders attach to the boat, but yes,who leaves them out ? lazy rookies do.
We call them "Canadian Flags" up here in Vermont :P
It's only a $300K boat...what could it hurt?
Or possibly a Stingray
That bumper flapping around really bugs me.
I think he sold the boat so he's taking it for one last spin.
Probably just another rental
