    I’ve used premier seeds for a few years now and never had problems with germination and like you say reasonably priced. real seeds are good as well 😊

    Hi Dan
    I stopped using slug pellets a couple of years ago. They just went mouldy.
    I use the beer traps now . and they work a treat.

    Wow lettuce looks so healthy Dan 💪💪. Hope the slugs don’t get them I found 2 munching away on mine 🤦🏼‍♀️. Have a great weekend, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

      For some reason I don't seem to get many slugs.
      Maybe it's because I'm surrounded by fields and they prefer to eat the stuff in there.
      Cheers Dan 😊

    Premier seeds are brilliant, i get lots of my seed from them

      I've had some poor seed from them.

      @@VanderlyndenJengold that's very unusual, I've dealt with them for around three years, and never had bad seeds. Luck if the draw I suppose

      All I can go on is this year's experience.
      Everything has germinated extremely quickly and with high rates.
      So for me so far they look good.
      Cheers Dan 😊

    I grow wild rocket, forsnh go to seed as readily as the ordinary rocket, and it comes back each year. I hhink it has a better flavour too

      This variety is the Wild type.
      I grew some of the newer varieties once and it just doesn't taste as good.
      Cheers Dan 😊

    you can feed your friends and neighbours with your excess produce.

      I do like to give any excess produce away to friends and neighbours.

    How do you deal with slug/snails

    • @Allotment-diaryUk
      @Allotment-diaryUk  8 месяцев назад

      To be honest I don't seem to suffer from slugs as my paths etc aren't made of anything they live in.
      I will use the new slug pellets however if the do become troublesome.
      Cheers Dan 😊

    I used premier seeds direct for about ten years, the absolute best of the best, Brexit put an end to that for me though

    • @Allotment-diaryUk
      @Allotment-diaryUk  8 месяцев назад +1

      I can't complain either.
      Really fast germination which means fresh seed and cheap prices.
      And they don't rip you off for postage either.
      So far so good for me.
      Cheers Dan 😊

      @@Allotment-diaryUk yep if I could I would still be ordering with them, I like they have a lot of unique varieties for a fair price too, I've still got seeds from them left that I'm slowly using up and you know what they still fire
