I love that after such a grueling journey of being locked in the GE, the next challenge _IMMEDIATELY_ locks him back here! Can’t wait to see what comes :3
@@Josh_Roberts what? he only added the varrock palace after like a year on the account being locked to the GE and having already beating his original goals in the GE
Love this series! It's so relaxing and chill. Your editing and choice of music, effects... all little hits of dopamine. Also love that your first episode was long and you made so much progress. Please make more!!
This is a sweet idea for a series, I'm excited for what's to come. And on a side note, the editing on this is really nice, I especially like the little things like the slow pullback when you're collecting wheat or slaying men.
I started playing runescape for the first time ever around the middle of last year and I've been obsessed with watching these challenge videos. Glad I have a new series to keep up with 👍
I knew a guy back in 2005/2006 that used to merch to buy every food item in the game, then when he’d get up to 80m+ and get all the items he’d just drop it and start again lol. This was when partyhats were under 10m in rs2 and top money makers were between 300k and 800k an hour 😂
I can't believe you went from a honest wheat collector and ultracompost maker to the serial killer of edgeville on this video. This game truly makes you insane.
4:00 Nice that you highlight the boarder of the chunk :) Makes it way easier to follow for someone (me) that has rarely played Runescape E: Oh! It's constantly on! Even better :D
Ngl, this series is honestly 10/10 I definitely want to watch till the end of the series, I also do feel that one of the items to buy should definitely be a mystic smoke staff since it's a perma item that you can use for training skills and also as a good early game weapon
Great series so far! One suggestion, I think you should update the item pricing of your favourites list any time you purchase an item to spice things up
New player to OSRS and I'm loving it. Found your channel when looking up some info guides. I've learned quite a bit from these kind of videos and really appreciate the time and dedication you put into your videos. I think it is a little funny that I get more out of your videos than actual guides on how to do "x". Keep up the awesome content!
It would be really interesting if you added playtime for each new item Steve obtained. It would be an interesting little datapoint to see when things speed up or slow down, etc.
I have not played Runescape since 2005. I stumbled on this video, and it was so entertaining! I just saw that it was a new video and got sad when I realized I can't binge watch a series. Looking forward to the next episode!
For your transportation exceptions just be careful that the methods aren't 1-way. For example, most canoes are 2-way except for the wildy canoe. If you unlocked the wildy canoe chunk without any connecting chunks you'd be stuck there. Other examples are the wildy lever from Edgeville before the wildy diary that unlocks the ability to go back to Edgeville or the Shantay -> Draynor jail tele. Good luck on the new account and welcome to the chunker life :)
I really love the concept and it’s because it’s easier and more relatable. I finished your video thinking “Wow. I could do this. I wonder what I would do and which chunk to choose. I want to watch this guy’s next video.”
I'm pretty sure there are some remote islands you will have to access via Fairy Rings that aren't adjacent to anything in order to complete some quests, just as a heads up. This looks like it will be an amazing series, can't wait for more!
Technically he already unlocked the Fairy ring. I think what he meant is that he can't just tele with a Fairy ring and unlock a new chunk, he'll still need to buy that chunk. So in order to unlock Fairy rings, he'll first need to make his to Zanaris by buying chunks, and then have spare chunks available if he wants to tele there via FR.
This is such a creative challenge! I was actually considering making a main account for the first time so I could do more stuff with friends, but I'd been dragging my feet on getting it started. This is a really inspiring concept, I might take a stab at it as well. Also very much looking forward to the rest of the series!
I came into this video quite skeptical about how interesting this idea would be, but this video was great and I think utilizing the new parts of each chunk for money making should be fun and keep the series fresh, great video!
Just watched this first episode today! You earned yourself a new sub. I will be catching up as much as I can hope they are still coming looking forward to the journey.
A fun video idea might be on how to best remove trade restrictions on newly created accounts. Restrictions implemented in April 2020; 10 quest points, 100 total level, 20 hours in game (all 3 must be fulfilled) for unrestricted trade. Suggestions; - Goblin diplomacy and Romeo & Juliet for 10 quest points (5 each) - Doric’s Quest for 10 mining - Knight’s Sword for 29 smithing - Cook’s assistant for 4 cooking - Sheep shearer for 3 crafting (have to spin balls of wool yourself for slightly more xp to level up) plus goblin diplomacy for 5 crafting (unlocks gold rings, then necklace at 6, and amulet at 8; probably the best low level F2P moneymaker and decent xp) You might as well spend the remainder of the 20 hours crafting gold amulets to get those total levels and make decent money while you’re at it. If you trade the supplies from a main, it’s a lot easier obviously. Otherwise you have to do it from scratch on the new account(s) (although it takes longer, it could help eat up the 20 hour requirement at least). If you want to AFK, make a defense pure at monks ( will need event rpg from diango, some food, defense amulet, and iron, then steel armor) get 40 defense and 29/30 hp in ~23 hours (1 in other combats) then just quest the remaining total levels. Other options; imp catcher for 1 to 8 magic, witch potion for 10 mage on top of that, vampire slayer for 1 to 20 attack.
Awesome idea, I actually really like that you choose the chunk rather than it being random. And using things like canoes etc to get around. I think it'd be better if you used a real-time list of items over 1mil depending on when you can unlock the next chunk. Will be interesting to see what happens in the market over time etc.
I think the only issue with real time prices is there is a lot of fluctuation on items around 1mil. This could kind of give me a way to collect way more than 350 odd chunks.
Yea true. If he rolls a nothing chunk it just seems like a waste of time and money. I like how he can strategically choose what chunks are best around him. And especially if his goal is to get as many qps as possible
Love the series, looking forward to seeing the next episode! I was wondering if it'd be interesting if after you unlocked a new chunk all the previous moneymaking method you've done are no longer available to you
at the start of the video I thought this might get a little convoluted but by the end I realize that this is a great iteration to the GE locked concept and im definitely excited to follow this one
Really cool ya doin another series. Consider spending your cash stack down to a certain amount (maybe under 1 mil/100k) each time you make a purchase. Since you are picking the chunks, I think this would add more weight to the unlock choice and put more focus on exploration. I feel like it would steamroll if you could sit on 300 mil and not have to worry so much about the actions in each chunk. Looking forward to it though man:)
13:40 just spitting nonsense but fun to think about; you can still choose and use a randomizer (number picker) however if the randomizer lands on the tile you picked, you cannot go there and pick again and go there If it doesn't land on your number you go as usual. It's honestly too much, great video. Watching the next one rn
Holy wow. The editing on this video! You put a LOT of effort into this. That was a fantastic show of effects on top of gameplay. Also the series idea is cool too! :)
As someone who last played mainscape in 2007 or so, it's very interesting to see your thought process as you progress through this challenge. Fun idea you cooked up here :)
Looks great so far! Not sure about making the list set though, can be kinda exciting to see some new items join the 1M+ club and get you a cheap new chunk. Should handle it the same as your other account, the moment you bought it above 1M, it's locked in.
Started grinding out the zealot's outfit on my Ironman so naturally I came back to this series from the beginning cause I remember you killing a boatload of shades :D
You always end up with great ideas of how this game could be played. I can't wait for the next episode! Thank you for providing us this quality content! 😊
You should do a series where you buy tiles with GP, when you buy tiles you have to send the GP to an ult and set a price per tile. It will have very interesting and steady progression like this! You can incorporate a level goal too kinda like Tileman. Love the new series :)
interesting concept for a series, looking forward to it. combines the oldschool flipping content with the newschool restricted acc series in a novel way, good shit
This is such an interesting concept, not just because of weird money makers, but also thinking about why these things make money. I still don't really know how gold bracelets would make money so fast and efficiently.

@@tady_toes I'm guessing that's a clan. How do I go about joining?
The imp isn't the only attackable monster. In your clip at the start when you were picking wheat, a goblin with a spear wandered into the chunk
I literally said to myself when that goblin showed up "oh he's got some combat training methods now" then he starts killing imps. I was devestated.
