Tonight I review AutoArt's terrific 1/18 scale composite (resin cast) model of the famous Audi Sport Quattro S1 SWB. This particular car won the 1986 Monte Carlo race. I found this car to be worth every penny in my opinion; it is nicely done in the usual AutoArt tradition of quality and detail! Great unbox and review. Composite diecast means while the panels are resin, they use diecast near the chassis area to add more heft and weight to it.

This model, Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2, only won San Remo and it was in 1985. Toivonen won Monte Carlo in 1986.

Love this one. I haven't seen the combination of resin and diecast before. All my resin models have no operating features so this is a real step up. Nice one!
