What are *your* thoughts on a stock tank pool? I get mixed comments on my other videos - I personally loved it. Original Stock Tank Pool Video: ruclips.net/video/E8NTfay4BUM/видео.html
I have been looking at artificial turf and travertine with the artificial turf in between to make a design. It looks so elegant and you don't have to cut grass. There are a lot of videos on DIY or how to. It stays so clean and only takes a blower to get rid of leaves. The ground is made level so no one will fall and get hurt.
Galvanized steel will rust if the water has chlorine or salt in it 100%. To paint wipe down using acetone (or any solvent) to remove the oil coating. Then a light sand followed by wash/wipe and you're good to spread the epoxy pool paint. The outside can be painted with rustoleom but still would need the same prep for the paint to stick.
Now if I can only find a way to DIY while in the pool - I'll be all set lol. But seriously - that's a good looking deck. Hope the new owners enjoy it! You guys going to do a stock tank pool at your new house?
Underwater DIYing would be an awesome niche I'm sure anyone would watch! I probably won't do one here since it's a little cooler most of the year and the house came with a hot tub 😍

Hi, I like your stock pool. I would like to ask you how big the pool is.
@@suzannevancauter5977 8” is what he said in the original video
Came together nicely within the stock tank.
Looks like it was meant to be there almost
Gotta love that deck screw system. I used it on my deck and it made life so much easier!
Yea it's a game changer. And supposedly helps the longevity of the boards since the screws are on the sides.

The projects never stop! Thanks for checking it out.
Deck looks great! Glad to hear the house sold over asking price!
Yea me too! 😉 thanks
Working together is always nice :) The deck looks great!
Makes a big difference when you have some help lol. Thanks!
Great job. Thats a sure way to stay cool while building a deck
Haha yea sure is. This was already late fall though so maybe a little too cold! Even for Texas.
You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! 😄
That's one amazing deck. I wish England had the climate for a stock tank pool 😅
Turn it into a hot tub! Lol. People in my comments say you just need a mini water heater
@@KellyConcepts strangely enough I've just been on a Google deep dive 🤣, a wood fired hot tub is in my future
@@DeanMakes lol there ya go! You'll love that. That's what I need next
I love it, I am doing a small deck like that and this is so helpfull

Moving, congrats on the new place, it's fun and exciting, but still, suck to pack and unpack; best of luck.
Oh yea, I'm loving the new spot. And the wife's company paid for the packing and moving! Sweet deal
@@KellyConcepts I remember those days

@@KellyConcepts Oh sweet! Yeah - a hot tub is probably a better fit there. Enjoy!
What was the time frame for the tank and deck? Thank you
Good, you used lags because decking screws are not made for structural applications!
Good to know, I thought I went overboard with the lag screws but glad to know it is actually what's recommended.
Do you have a website with the supply list?
