- Aftershock is a Vekoma giant inverted boomerang at Silverwood. This ride originally operated as Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America before being relocated to Idaho. This is an ultra forceful ride going both forwards and backwards standing nearly 200 feet tall.
Outstanding camera work. Captures what it feels like.
Thanks!
This so awesome 👌 like front sit !
It's intense.
Omg I remember this ride was closed for a year at six flags New England and I was actually able to ride this one time. Sadly it got removed, and they opened this ride for the last day. I won’t forget abt this ride it’s fun fr im tryna go to silverwood to ride this beast again.
Silverwood's is smoother and more reliable.
That loop backwards is intense! I love the cometary from the people riding lol
The whole ride is intense.
@@CanobieCoaster 100%
@@CanobieCoaster i rode the MM version and the SFNE one (where those the same?) then I rode the version in Shanghai
I kept going on this ride over and over, it’s so good
Same. The slow ops combined with a slow day allow you to exit, walk right back around, and never miss a cycle.
It's a hard one to marathon.
I can do a frontrow ride, then a backrow and then its break time! Front row backwards drop is so good!
That was great!🤩
It's fun and intense.
Black and a bright yellow orange would be a great color scheme for this coaster.
I like this scheme better myself.
It Was So Fun
It is.
I like how Silverwood gave those ride a complete overhaul after they bought it from Six Flags Great America. It's a bit of a shame that no park did the same thing to Stinger at Dorney Park after announcing that they were closing it.
Now weather seems to be the big thing that shuts Aftershock down.
These should only run Vekoma trains. They're fun when they do.
This is what Canobie Coaster said when I asked that. So if I ask you, why?
The Vekoma ones track well.

If I tell you, Goliath at Six Flags New England, which was relocated from Six Flags Magic Mountain where operated as Dèjá Vu, opened in 2012 with the old train but it received the Premier train in 2013 or 2014, in an attempt to improve the ride's expedite loading. But what?
Canobie Coaster would say...
The ride got rough.
So what would you rate Aftershock?
6.5
There is a video explaining the history of the Vekoma giant inverted boomerangs and what happened with Goliath at Six Flags New England, made by Theme Park Crazy. Would you make one?
I'll have a review out later today.
Out of every single giant inverted boomerang, this one seems to be the best, I wonder if they will make a more modern version of this model, kinda like what they did with their old boomerang coasters with their super boomerang, looking at you flash vertical velocity I hope they make a modern inverted boomerang
Stuntfall is better then this because it doesn't have the lap belt
@Ihatethoosies nice username also its actually called a seatbelt🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Stunt Fall is my favorite of this model since that one doesn't have the lap belt.
Imagine Vekoma returning to build more Giant Inverted Boomerangs, and installing one in New Hampshire, what would you like to do with that invented one, that it would run which train or what?

this looks super fun, to bad i live in europe
Go to Parque Warner Madrid. They have the same ride there, just with different colors.
Stunt Fall is on that continent at least.
true tho@@CanobieCoaster
