I agree. I think with bags we know we love and are anticipating I think it is very worth a direct store visit to choose for ourselves and inspect before we pay. I had a good experience with ordering thankfully but I was admittedly nervous .the silver hardware , leather C and difference in the feel of the dyed leather is also what’s putting me off from the colors .
I got this bag too, its so sad how there are emerging issues with these quilted tabbys. I own 3 of them now (denim and pink 20 and black 26) and I agree that they shouldn’t have done with the leather covered Cs. I much prefer the gold or silver hardware
Omg my bag from Nordstrom was not even in the dust bag and thrown in a box. It’s so interesting to see how everyone else’s bags come. I agree with you on going into store! Your bag is probably a return.
I bought this bag in chalk directly from Coach, and it was perfect! Also bought the size 26 in black with silver hardware from Nordstrom. It was perfect also. I must be very lucky!! So sorry that your bags arrived damaged.

I have 4 in the size 20 and haven't had any of these issues so I am hopeful you will get good quality ones without these issues ❤ Also I really like your hair like this 🥰 my hair is naturally wavy and I never know what to do with it either haha but it looks cute here!
I feel that the coach warehouse has just been throwing these bags into boxes without any thought. I have three bags from the distribution house that I will b e returning, part because they have issues. Two of them I have to wait to go to a boutique in a couple weeks as I live 2 hours from my closest one. So ridiculous.
I ordered the tabby 26 and went through 3 returns before I got a nice one! The first one was a display clearly and very creased and the second had really deep creasing from not being packaged correctly. The last one is near perfect with just a small bump on the bottom but since it stills sits on a table fine I kept this one. They’re such beautiful bags it’s a shame there isn’t better quality control.
I’m so sorry you had trouble as well😥 I agree the quality control needed to be better but I think that now they know how in demand they are, they will hopefully be on top of it. I don’t think they were able to handle the influx of orders.
I have the same bag! Mine came with a lot of wrinkling and then I exchanged it and then the C came with a minor dent but I just gave up and kept it 😂 unboxings on my channel
I know the bags aren't crazy expensive but I am so disappointed. The 26 black with gold hardware finally in stock and my god, I already had to exchange it 2 times! No stores nearby have any in stock. Also, the second time they sent it to me, did not come with a gift box like I asked for. I just sent it back again this morning and the customer rep on the phone this morning (second person) demanded for photos. I will probably have to wait, yet again, another week to perhaps get another. If it doesn't work out, I'm just going to wait it out. They have no quality control on any of their quilted tabby. I rather them take their time to make these bags then rush like crazy. Watch out for the hardware, obvious dents and wrinkles, threads coming apart (which happened to my second bag UPON OPENING THE BOX).
Wow! That's not good...I don't know but I bought the quilted tabby 26 in black w/ brass gold hardware and I have no issues. Everything is perfect. Been using it everyday with no issues at all. I hope you finally get it in perfect condition so you can enjoy it. It is beautiful ❤
Girl, I wish to Coach yesterday looking at these bags and the SA was trying to explain to me why the leather looked stretch and she said it’s because it’s lamskin. I shared with her I Chanel lambskin and never seen this and it be the norm. I picked up at least 5 bags in different colors and sizes too and they were the same. I just said no thanks.
It’s such a pretty bag but the quality control with coach seems to be failing. I had to return mine due to a defect. Ugh

Yikes!! This makes me wonder how this bag is going to hold up overtime. I ordered this one on 2/22 and 10 days later coach hasn’t shipped it yet.
