Humanity was blessed the day that this man was born. What a beautiful gift to us from the universe. So thankful to have lived through a time period where I had the immense pleasure of enjoying such a profound artist.
I remember walking with my parents..me about 4 years old on my dad’s shoulders with my mom and siblings waking on starlit nights to and from my grandma’s house singing this song! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so safe nor will ever again! My dad has since passed away and now my mom is 89 and sick in the hospital! I wish I could go right back there!😢
As Cohen introduces each member of his ensemble with such respect, you can see in the face of each what they think of this man. You are missed, Mr. Cohen.
Leonard's music is superb and this band is surely his best ever. When Leonard assigned Roscoe Beck to assemble this band he told him "I want the best band on the road this year". Many of this band are virtuosos and notable artists in their own right. It's a perfect display of everyone fitting their contribution to create a perfect whole. It's wonderful that the final act of Leonard's life was to create this masterful line up and give us the best ever performances of his songs.
Far from the final act, he released several albums after Live in London, each more broken and beautiful than the last. Adam Cohen also spent a fair bit of time after his death compiling his unpublished songs and poems into new publications.

Why aren't you here Leonard to help us? I know you blessed soul you had to rest from so much horror. Rest in peace you blessed, wonderful man for all eternity. Yo we're simply the best. We miss you so much. Just knowing that you were alive and breathing amongst us was a relief and comfort in the world we live in. One felt a wiseman would try to do something to make things better.
As my dad, who has passed over, explained, my dad was delighted to find out when he died that he can help all of us so much more from the other side. Dad said he has shed his human skin and he has regained his beautiful, powerful and magnificent soul wisdom and power and Leonard Cohen has done the same so he is helping us along with all the beings of light. Tune in and feel it through quiet contemplation if you can.
His last album is very prophetic, a message to the awake people of this planet, from someone such as himself, who has lived many years on the inside of this thing. Thank you for your music may you Rest with our lord and may peace be upon your soul.
Leonard Cohen's music is there for all of us to discover, return to, and sit with in all phases of our lives. Seeing him several times was not just a concert but a communal experience I will never forget.
I can listen to him over a d over again, each time with same amazement at his ingenuity, mistycism. Spirituality and common sense that everyone can relate to, all religions, atheists, astetc and addicts. Cohen music is universal and eternal...forever
Lynn and I were fortunate to see Leonard Cohen perform live 3 times in our lives and each time is embedded indelibly on our memories as if it was only yesterday. I will always remember the energy that he displayed as he rebounded back on the Vancouver stage for a final encore at the age of 75, as if he was only 21. The music and poetry of this man has impacted us more than any other artist. We miss him immeasurably.
Oh my goodness I wa sjust thinking of that show- I was thee with you as well...feels like it was yesterday, an din a dream, yet th emost mystical, dream-like experience I have ever had. He is with us- in us, more than ever.
This video showcases one of the many things I love about Leonard Cohen. I've seen concerts where the singer just quickly runs off the names of the folks in the band. Not Leonard. Look at him when he's introducing the other musicians (like at 6:10 and 6:45): he's not just being polite, he's actually taking a moment to watch them play and really listen to what they're playing. It must have been an incredible honor to perform with him.
The Leonard Cohen mural is Montreal's Statue of liberty. Kamala Harris graduated from the same High School as Leonard my prayer is that she too may understand the difference between the law and justice.
I was at this concert in Vancouver 2010. The band intros go on for 5 minutes ! He had written some new stuff to tease the drummer. It’s a shame his symbol is blocking his face cuz he was cracking up And shaking his head stop! m.ruclips.net/video/L6O9HiPvSBI/видео.html
The love in the eyes of the band and ladies is what this great man was all about! Thank you Mr Leonard Cohen for the riches of your words and soul. Rest Eternally in Heavenly Peace.
The.elegant acknowledgement of each performer by Maestro Cohen is as moving as the beautiful performances themselves. An exalting performance. Thank you to all.
Followed and Loved Leonard for 48yrs...saw him in this Concert in Australia. Wife bought me Gold front row ticvckets as a gift...apart fro Bowie and Queen who I also saw live and not30 feet away, THIS was up there with the best concert I ever saw in my life and I saw ALL THE GREATS...Dylan included... and I will take the joy of that night to the grave, which is sadly not too far off for me now:(. I'm not spiritual or Religious in any way but man if I got to meet him in some sort of alternative quantum existence. I'd welcome it for an eternity. PEACE.
I only discovered him during the first lockdown. A friend sent a video clip of ‘My Secret Life’ which I thought was amazing. I delved deeper then … oh what such rapture listening to his poetic words. I am a big Genesis and Phil Collins fan yet the stage presence of this amazing guy at age 80 was total and deeper than I’ve seen from anyone. God bless u Leonard x
Hits me everytime!!! So beautiful lyrics - the great one might be gone - but his music and poetry lives on!!! Thank you Mr. Cohen for your contribution to this world... from my heart, thank you!!!
He says “every heart TO love will come; but like a refugee” I am saddened in the most profound and glorious way..I count the pain a holy gift to me, how can I explain? I see something in the bonds of these musicians, some reciprocity of respect and love that I admire very much. Having been denied by family, friends, brothers and sisters. On a human level excruciating to experience and all encompassing, like everyone became instantly infected with some senseless animosity, on a few occasions while they struggled to mask the intensity of their hatred i just marvelled in some darkened awe at the fact they didn’t even know why or who they actually were hating and dehumanizing. It’s all very sad but though cracked the bells that still can ring do indeed ring true
A genius poet and such an intelligent man, I watched his documentary on Netflix. “Ring the bell that can still ring” makes me think about my mother who passed in 2021. Life isn’t easy but better days are coming. Thanks Leonard
I love how seriously Cohen took his calling. He’s the ultimate ‘stare at the page until beads of blood appear on your forehead’ kind of writer. The never let go tenacity of staring into a song sometimes for years until it emerges. He’ll only get more relevant.
Raw emotion, raw honesty, deeply spiritual from a human perspective. Leonard Cohen was one of a kind. I discovered his music later on in my life and I feel more connected to his words and music these days. Thank you Mr. Cohen.
This legend past away but his Music and Poetry will never die, because: CLASSIC! Leonard Cohen really deserves the Nobel Price póstumo,..!! He really deserves!!!
When I'd heard that Bob Dylan would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, I immediately thought, "next year will be Cohen's year!". Sadly, LC was gone within the year.
Remember… no matter how dark it might get… when you’re at the bottom… no matter how hopeless you feel… There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in… ❤
Oh yeah he's your Man, forget your offering ! Even with the crack in everything , he brings the light within every sound .with the tone of his voice . With the words that he speaks! That is how the light gets in. I really love this .but who don't! Who wouldn't. What's not to love .
Brilliant. First Class. Don't dwell on yesterday or what is yet to be ... the wars will be fought again ... ring the bells that still can ring. 2021 and beyond - RING THE BELL.
Grew up in the 70's with this amazing guy being a huge part of our lives with his music. I know of no other artist then and now who was more appreciative of his audience and fellow musicians than leonard cohen. A legend always. Rip leonard, you'll never be forgotten.
У кого не навернулись слёзы ? Как трогательно , гармонично , восхитительно все в этом человеке . Дай Господи, чтобы мы все встретили осень своей жизни в такой душевной красоте 🙏❤️
Incredible performance, and even though it was probably more common back in the day, it's touching the way he introduces every performer to the audience so they can be appreciated. There are plenty of singer/songwriters that would barely even speak to their fellow band members, let alone give them any time on stage to take any adulation.
(google tradutor) I always liked this part of the show, after all, they are all professionals of a high level. Leonard recognized that and should be proud of the group he worked with.
Hearing only seems far from the reality, words of passed of another world, then the images comes out and he appears to us, he was real, he was with us only 3 years ago and we was not enough able to say him Thank you., Thanks for your poetry of emotion and humanity, thanks Leonard Cohen, thanks from Italy, thanks from alls world corners.

I believe this refers to Kabballah, where the creation of the universe (and take the rest of this quite symbolically) involved a "vessel" that could not hold the holy Light and fractured, and our job is to find all the pieces. The job of people is to connect the physical world to the spiritual, and in that, Leonard Cohen excelled.

I owe him everything I hold dear to my heart.
He owns me.
My wife will never know where I get my values from.
This man cemented my beliefs & fears....Made me whole.
Thankyou.
Leonard Cohen. One of the greatest human beings. Ever.

Amen😢
Leonard Cohen's music is there for all of us to discover, return to, and sit with in all phases of our lives. Seeing him several times was not just a concert but a communal experience I will never forget.
WOW!!! Good on you!!🎼🎶💞
I can listen to him over a d over again, each time with same amazement at his ingenuity, mistycism. Spirituality and common sense that everyone can relate to, all religions, atheists, astetc and addicts. Cohen music is universal and eternal...forever
Amazing!
... and with each listen a new revelation ✨️
What a fortunate thing that you both got to see/hear him in person. So so soulful!
I envy you both. I just discovered this wonderfully talented man...he owns a bit of my ♥️
Oh my goodness I wa sjust thinking of that show- I was thee with you as well...feels like it was yesterday, an din a dream, yet th emost mystical, dream-like experience I have ever had.
He is with us- in us, more than ever.
Ah, I miss you, Leonard. Thank you for guiding me in the dark.
True love and miss
Him
God bless you and your family 🙏❤️
Michael
I felt the same thing. Respect and love for each other shines through as he introduces the muscians.
The Leonard Cohen mural is Montreal's Statue of liberty. Kamala Harris graduated from the same High School as Leonard my prayer is that she too may understand the difference between the law and justice.
I love listening to him. What a beautiful man.
I was at this concert in Vancouver 2010. The band intros go on for 5 minutes ! He had written some new stuff to tease the drummer. It’s a shame his symbol is blocking his face cuz he was cracking up
And shaking his head stop!

Ring the bells that still can ring!
I didn't get him when l was a Teen, now l love and understand everything he poetically expresses
It´s a pleasure to hear and see this great poet and singer in concert!
Very few artists reach the recesses of human soul that Cohen did.
A Great Man! A Real Man and I love him! His soul was clean and he was a real Jewish Man!
Bless him for ever!
truly, this is how the light gets in, this man with all his love and wisdom...look how he takes off his hat for his musicians.
The world was blessed with the talent of Leonard Cohen and he is missed by many. He was a gift to us all.
Це правда. Я також його обожнюю.
.
I feel the exact same way
Followed and Loved Leonard for 48yrs...saw him in this Concert in Australia. PEACE.
Makes me cry every time...
Same for me !
hope to meet you in heaven...!!!
Real beauty always does that to me.
2020: I am so sad that it took me so long to find the INCREDIBLE Leonard Cohen. Thank you for the amazing songs. WHAT A LEGEND
Amen...it took to 2021 for me....sadly.Bob Baker.Australia.
It's tooks you so long to find Léonard but at least, you find her..That's better as never.
Kisses from France.
I just recently discovered him, and he is all I am listening to now.
I, too, just discovered him this year, 2022. I'm sad for all the years I missed.
Privileged to see him in concert at Sydney Entertainment Centre mid ‘80s. He is the real deal. Consummate performer. ❤❤❤
The geniuine article ❤
His voice and words speak volumes.
My sis and I have enjoyed this masterpiece through out our lives.
Hits me everytime!!! So beautiful lyrics - the great one might be gone - but his music and poetry lives on!!! Thank you Mr. Cohen for your contribution to this world... from my heart, thank you!!!
אין כמו אימא בעולם!!!!!!!!!.

This song is timeless and relevant everyday. l love it so much.
He was such a beautiful soul. I'm 74 and I'll keep playing his music as long as I can.
"...When so much of the world is plunged in darkness and chaos..."
My Dear God, ......it doesn't get any darker than what's happening right now in our country!😧😢..........Nope, "the Dove is Never FREE."
That means this song will always be in place.
Yeah... that line struck me too. 2019 seems such a nice calm world seen from 2020 doesn't it.
@@MOEhock Wait until you see 2021!
This is a shol
And the bells - as old and powerful as an image can be. The resonance of his voice, his extraordinary respect for his “troupe” - RING loudly!!!
Hello Sara Hope you're enjoying this song. He's my favorite musical artists I love his songs. And how are you doing today if I may ask?
He even introduces the musicians in a poetic way. God, how great he was (is)!
Cohen.
Melanie❤❤❤❤
There is a crack in everything....that's how the light gets in.
Beautiful.
How I love this Anthem My bell always sings: "There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in"
HE IS A DARLING ❤️😘 RIP DEAR LEONARD 💞💞💞💞💞💞
This legend past away but his Music and Poetry will never die, because: CLASSIC! Leonard Cohen really deserves the Nobel Price póstumo,..!! He really deserves!!!
When I'd heard that Bob Dylan would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, I immediately thought, "next year will be Cohen's year!". Sadly, LC was gone within the year.
This great and wonderful Song is going in my Heart. I love Leonard Cohen with his excellent Songs so much❤❤
R.I.P. MY Dear Leonard✝️⚜️
Cannot listen to this without shedding a few tears
Remember… no matter how dark it might get… when you’re at the bottom… no matter how hopeless you feel… There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in… ❤
I had the great honour to hear mr. Leonard Cohen live . Thank you.
Me too❤
Après écouter le Pape ce jour, j'écoute 'leonard cohen avec encore plus de force...
Ils se rejoignent... Merci Seigneur...
The universe spoke to us thru this very special man
He spoke from that place
Every heart, every heart
To love will come
But like a refugee
Oh yeah he's your Man, forget your offering ! Even with the crack in everything , he brings the light within every sound .with the tone of his voice . With the words that he speaks! That is how the light gets in. I really love this .but who don't! Who wouldn't. What's not to love .
A humble genuine man with faults like all of us with words eternal
This is such a beautiful and reverent troop - each talented individually and harmonious together. Leonard Cohen was a poet, a performer, a priest.
da
Incredible performance, and even though it was probably more common back in the day, it's touching the way he introduces every performer to the audience so they can be appreciated. There are plenty of singer/songwriters that would barely even speak to their fellow band members, let alone give them any time on stage to take any adulation.
(google tradutor)
I always liked this part of the show, after all, they are all professionals of a high level. Leonard recognized that and should be proud of the group he worked with.
Dylan's been on the road FOREVER and I'll bet ya he's yet to introduce ANYONE!
This good man is amazingly WONDERFUL Thank u
THERE IS A CRACK, A CRACK IN EVERYTHING, THATS HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN
Is so
Hearing only seems far from the reality, words of passed of another world, then the images comes out and he appears to us, he was real, he was with us only 3 years ago and we was not enough able to say him Thank you., Thanks for your poetry of emotion and humanity, thanks Leonard Cohen, thanks from Italy, thanks from alls world corners.
