Your little rivet came out so perfect! The end that sticks out the back was a lot shorter than I expected it to be. Good to know - thank you for always sharing so much useful info!

Wow...what a great product because that has been one of my biggest frustrations with riveting is how much wire to leave. I usually always have too much and then it does not look smooth. Thanks for showing us how to use it Melissa. This product will be something I would totally use and it will make a big difference in my jewelry.

Riveting is also one of my favorite cold connections. Being retired & with limited tools, soldering is not an option for me. Riveting allows for many options and gives each piece a unique look. Having this kit would be treasure!

Hi Melissa. Thank you so much for the awesome video!!!! Riveting is something I haven't tried yet out of fear, but you explain it so well and these tools look like they help take some of the guess work out of it, I might just have to give it a try. It would add a whole new dimension to my pieces!!! I am so excited!!! I can't wait to watch some more of your videos to see what other excellent information and techniques you share!!! Thank you so much again. Hope you are having a fantastic week!

I'd love to have this kit. The biggest problem I have with riveting is cutting the wire to the correct length. It's either too long and folds over or too short so not enough material to securely hold it together. Thanks so much Melissa. Your videos are always so helpful.

GR8 Video. The riveting tool kit looks like it would make riveting a breeze & would be so great to have. I can not for the life of me get the "hang" of cutting the lengths of the rivet. They always end up way too short & won't "catch" my metals or are way too long & bend over & then are obviously not functional & look horrible!! THX for the contest & the ability to enter!!

What a great and easy riveting project! To prevent the distortion on the other side of the flower while hammering, can you use a softer surface, or does the surface always have to be a steel block or similar? Can you use this process on any thickness of metal or does it lose some of its hold on thicker pieces? Can you layer more then 2-3 layers of metal with the rivets? Thanks again for the informative video.

What a great video. I'm curious as to what the thin punches in Gwens kit are used for. I do a lot of riveting in my work as well, but lean toward tube riveting. I make my own riveting pins with flat heads or textured and hammered heads. I have been using my draw plate for flattening, but I need to get out of that habit so I do not wind up damaging it. Do you have a suggestion for a good tool for this purpose? I was looking at the hexagonal blocks that have holes in them, but wasn't sure if that is what they are for :)
