i noticed you were struggling with holding the end down with tape, a suggestion i have is to use a clipboard to hold the end of your wrap! its sooo much easier

How do you attach it if you are wearing your hair down? With a Bobby pin? A tiny hair tye?
Its a wire wrapped hair tie. If you want to wear it with loose hair then dont use wire..attach to hair with a clip or braid in.

Do these stay in all day? I have dreadlocks and find I have to use 2/3 hairbands to stop my hair coming loose and getting messy throughout the day
You can twist it tight, it’s pretty firm hold :)
I also made one by myself but i used a stronger wire and i made it about 70cm long to wrap it around my dread ponytail twice and then it holds the whole day :)
