Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the intro and introlude. It took me a while to produce those, haha.
As always, this is another of my vocal battle: Kelly vs Britney. This is a revamp of an old video of mine, hope you enjoy it!

@agators212 Yeah, it's one of the leaks but this has been kept a secret since the Breakaway era. There's an A5 in Get Away too, her highest studio belt yet).
@SetingSun Ugh. I'm revamping my old videos into something different and way better. I had a not so worked on version of this from a year ago and it didn't give the concept justice so I gave it another. To be honest, I don't like your tone.

@kellyclarksonismygod I'm actually workin on the video but she hits the note at the :57 mark in Dramatic she scales down from C#3, in MATM in the intro when she's hitting a C#3 she briefly touches a B2, in Oops during the breakdown at 2:05 she scales down from C#3 to B2, in Bottom of my Broken Heart at the 2:17 mark she hits B2, and she also hits a B2/C3 in Guilty and idk maybe an A2. Once more again I'm a beginner at piano but if you check all of them you'll get a B2 :)

Her G5 is just head voice, it isn't a belt it was my mistake. i'm sorry. And I believe the "G2" has been disproved and actually is a C#3.

@kellyclarksonismygod hmmm...one of her demo's or a leaked song, possible for her upcoming album?
@Breniznit The lowest I've heard was a C#3, I really doubt she can go as low as a B2 if not for vocal fry or while speaking. Not that i'm hating or anything, it's just personal opinion.

And also she has hit lots and lots of C#3's in plenty of songs so I highly doubt she can't hit a B2 which has the a difference in frequency is less then 16 hertz

The thing with Britney is that her voice is so distinct, like most pop legends! Michael Jackson etc, they all have distinct voices. Love Kelly but some of the songs on here weren't convincing that it was her even singing just because her voice is that bit more generic. Love her voice though I really do
@mikneyspackson Um do you really have all of Kelly's albums? Then you would hear the difference from when she cleans up her voice and softens it on breakaway or because of you to adding more edge to her since u been gone or never again. Kelly has sung ep many genres and not even just studio but live especially this tour. She can go from blues, soul, r&b, pop, rock, jazz, alternative, country, to full on diva with her Whitney and Mariah covers this tour. She is the epitome of versatile

Britney has hit a B2 quite a couple of times: Dramatic, Oops, Me Against the Music, From the Bottom of My Broken Heart etc..... and she is without a doubt IMO the queen of C#3 and since their isn't much a difference between the two that much in pitch she could easily hit a B2
Britney is a really great singer! She's a dance artist that's why people underrate her so much, she has amazing low notes, she hit G2 many times and her belted notes are good! Her headvoice is gorgeous! Her low notes are way better than Kelly's and her G5 belt was better too!

@Breniznit Ugh, I give a lot of the low notes to Britney but to be honest even in the low notes Kelly takes the edge. Britney's aren't really focused, the only good thing going towards her is her naturally lower tessiture and looking at Jessica Simpson higher tessiture doesn't mean better technique.

I am not saying she's amazing or the best in the world and I respect your opinion, but really she's actually pretty good!! And I think it's unfair that people judge her like that, she's a dance artist that's why she doesn't focus much on her vocals and yeah she mimed a lot in the past but on her femme fatale tour, she sang most of it live !! And MJ and Madonna used to mime a lot too
I wish we had Kelly's new album in order to use newer songs and not leaks. Cool video though.

Can't compare those two ranges. Basically, because Kelly Clarkson's notes on her songs are notes she actually SINGS live. Britney's notes are usually pitch corrected/enhanced and she rarely sings live. She has a rich dark color, as i've seen in songs where she uses her real voice, not the squeaky voice her record label makes her use. Also, Kelly has at least a half octave more of range than britney, which means she naturally hits notes better than Britney. It's simply not fair for Britney.
Basically this is a comparison between a real, natural voice and a studio made, auto-tuned voice. Kelly's range is SICK!!! Any of Britney's big belts are enhanced. Britney is a performer, not a singer. Kelly does both

Have you every heard her unreleased aka unedited songs ?? And you can search for the demos of her songs, almost the same and even way better!! Britney's Femme Fatale was very autotuned , I admit that but her demo version of HIAM and her live version are better than the one her album!! And she sang some songs of the album live, she actually sounds better live

The thing is though, I prefer Britneys voice. It's more unique and the tone her voice her has is much nicer than Kellys in my opinion. Britneys voice is full of emotion while kellys has a great voice it just isn't as appealing. Britney's is so versatile too. She can belt, she can sound sexy, she can soften it, she can do everything. While kelly and most singers sound the same in every song with the same tone to their voice etc. Britney is more of a vocal actress I'd say. Both have special voices

I mean your username is litterally "kellyclarksonismygod" so I expected it to be a little biased but exepct for her mid belts you really picked horrible notes. Kelly would problably take the upper belts (and falsettos if you used them) even if you used Brit's best notes but Britney would oblitarate her in the lower register deffinetly. Btw Britney has harmonized F5's in Hold On Tight. With all those being said I actually liked the concept and the editing a lot. The people in the comments are idiotic though. And one last thing KELLY'S G5 IS A GIFT TO HUMANITY OMG

I don't think Britney has any real vocals.
I am appalled that people are actually trying to argue (to no avail) that Britney Spears has a superior voice to Kelly Clarkson.... Britney can't sing to save her life. Her "artistry" is reliant on her performances, not her vocals. That's the kind of artist she is. Deal with it.
