Lil Wayne is the God of Mixtapes & Metaphors !!!
Lilliam Pumpernickle do you know Montana of 300 is a new generation Lil Wayne
“Married to the money, fuck the world that’s adultery” I don’t think this line gets enough credit lmao
This song is bar after bar, you can’t really focus on any specific bar
That bar was so hard he level up on it
Adultery seems to be a mission now
And money make the world go round so that’s what ya call a love triangle!
I feel this is song is one of the greatest song ever written the whole song is nothing but punch lines..it actually requires attentiom to be paid. Rather.than just bounce to a beat.
"I think you stand under me, if you can't understand me" FUCKING GOATED

@@TeaAndBunsMC that's crazy just one bar took years to understand
You had to be there to experience this song fully. Wayne was untouchable in his era.
I remember. This dude was in another dimension. Along with Eminem
I'm forever stuck in 2011 Wayne era
I remember when this first dropped
I was listening to this song on the radio of the bus in 4th grade. This was the era of “Bedrock” “Kiss me through the phone.” and “Drank in my cup.”.
Songs that were not only great to listen to, but also had very well written verses. The radio back then was always playing something good 😭👴🏻
Still untouchable in this era as well.
"Life is the bitch, and death is her sister
Sleep is the cousin, what a fucking family picture"
🔥🔥😂😂😂
😆😆
Don't forget father time and mother nature the parents 😂😂 good times
@C Wayne's bar was way better bro
🤪
@C Like I said Wayne's was way better... The bar in it self was mediocre Wayne made it more complex
“I got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate” dude managed to talk about prison and grammatical construction at the same time
It's because the word 'sentence' is a homonym. The whole thing is a triple entendre.

“Real G’s move in silence like lasagna” one of the best rap lines in rap history
right? such an underrated line - i still think lyrically (especially on his mixtapes) in terms of metaphors and similes and lines that just go over peoples heads, he’s the best to ever do it and people call that crazy but meanwhile they either miss half of what he says or don’t listen to his real music and just his radio hits (which many did suck tbh, this was the only real radio HIT that was a lyrical nightmare like his other lesser known stuff - unless megaman was a hit on the radio? i forget… but that was another big song on a major album where he brought out his real heat on a mainstream song) - i remember when this very song came out after i graduated (idk , like 2010) and cornballs were actually targeting that very line to say how trash he is since he couldn’t think of anything else than lasagna - without even realizing the word lasagna is spelled with a “g”, smh - i don’t listen to this stuff now a days since turning to Islam since most of it is about filth - but every once in a while i get an itch to listen to his songs where he has these types of lines- he has certain songs where u can actually pause at EVERY LINE to see the lyrical loophole he threw in
but then theres other songs of his that are the complete opposite and are just horrid - i never understood that - like how he made so many songs that were just absolutely *incredible* via lyrics and then have so much trash at the same time - theres no gray area with Weezy - it was either a complete banger with him or a song i would never listen to again
@@TheWorldStageGeopolitics lol it’s not underrated, every year I comeback to this song and there’s always a new comment on the top quoting it still a fire bar tho
