Watching this brings back so many childhood memories. The 2000’s were the golden days of gaming, we did not know how lucky we were to have lived in it. Times were more simple where the closest thing we had to social media was the online co-op versions. I would give anything to go back and relive those simpler days. To all those Spartans who are no longer here, you will never be forgotten. 😊

@@wolf16382004 was no slouch for games. Almost better than 2007 IMO. Halo 2, Half Life 2, Far Cry, NFS Underground 2, WoW, GTA San Andreas.

No one can deny how awesome the ending with Chief and Cortana is. It's perfect. The perfect way to end the series. The music, the callbacks to Pillar of Autumn, and how it caps off the whole story, oh, it's so good. But hot damn the ending with the Arbiter is always what gets me. The shots of earth starting to grow again, the peace between Arbiter and hood, the memorial to those fallen, Arbiter saying "Were it so easy", his peace with Shipmaster and finally going home, and the absolutely wonderful track "Tribute" oh... it's just beautiful.
To be fair, Halo 4 was apart from a monotonous enemy design and too much exposition in one scene (u already know lol) the perfect way to continue the story. Like hands down, respect for 343 for such a respectful and beautiful handling of Chief's and Cortana's lives. It gets the melancholy of it all just right.
If 5 just went along and focused more on a more organic development of it all instead of... uh, what it did, the trilogy could have been magnificient. Halo Infinite could have been the swan song to Chief's journey.
But coulda woulda shoulda. I'm thankful Halo 1 to 4 happened. And for a whole bunch of phenomenal novels. Love all of these.

You could save a lot of Brute Shot ammo by melee attacking with it instead. The blade on the bottom of it is as lethal as an Energy Sword, and you can melee attack with it forever once you get it. Completely destroys the Flood forms in one strike, kills just about anything in one hit. Except Brute Chieftains.

I remember playing this game back when I was I think 7 or 8 and I was blown away by the graphics gameplay story and soundtrack and still remains a personal favorite for me
For the past few weeks I’ve been watching these halo gameplay videos I’m bed before I sleep and I SWEAR TO GOD they make me so damn sleepy. I’ll be falling asleep in the middle and have to go back to where I remember I was at before I closed my eyes for like a few minutes because I get so SLEEPY. 😭😭
I remember the day I bought this game with the Xbox 360. I was working on a rig in Utah (Vernal to be exact) around October 2007. I was 24 years old then. Hard to believe this game is that old and it still holds up.
This takes me back to easter of 2013. Got this game in my Easter basket. Stayed up all night playing the campaign was awesome! I was 5 at the time, now I'm 16 and in highschool.
These games were legendary, I'll never forget the last mission of this game. The music in Halo was always so good too. The early 2000s really were the best years for gaming.

This is certainly a case of remedy being worse than the disease. The forerunners destroeyd even themselves, along with other life around, but still couldn't get rid of the flood. That being said, it seems quite strange those fungus-zombies could operate a spaceship and everything. The tentacled abomination was intelligent, but the rest had little wits. It seems even more unlikely they could build spaceships. The tentacle monster had been around since the time of the forerunners and hadn't been able to do anything. In other words, the flood doesn't spread anywhere if it's contained and not allowed to spread by other species. The forerunners weren't too smart. Or perhaps they developed the flood as a bioweapon and used it heedlessly among themselves.
Maybe these questions are answered in the later games.
The flood when they absorb a dude to there cause they not only get there memories but also the combined intelligence of everyone they absorb they don’t have a cap cause if they absorb 2 guys with 100 iq each the gravemind gets 200 iq smarter even if those 2 guys had fuck off information on what enemies they are facing how to use there equipment doesn’t matter they are still useful not just as mere biomass for the floods hive plus any and all information is remotely uploaded to the gravemind and is transmitted throughout the drones which is why we see flood comediering unsc and covenant vehicles so easily and which makes the flood so much more dangerous then any simple airborne zombie apocalypse garbage out there
Plus the flood were a last ditch effort by the last precursors to get some form of revenge against the foruners it just mutated to what we now know as the flood
@@necfreon6259 IQ doesn't work that way. Let's say you have two smart engineers, who both can design a fully functional engine from scratch. If you somehow steal their intelligence and wisdom, you still won't be able to do more than build the engine, though it's possible you might be able to design a little bit better engine than either of the two engineers alone. However, you most certainly wouldn't be able to design an engine twice as good as either of them. It's because of the huge overlapping. If you absorbed a third engineer of equal smartness, your gains would diminish even more.
If you really wanted to get IQ of 200 that way, you'd need to absorb a person with 200 IQ. Alternatively you'd need to absorb massive amounts of people of lower IQ, to build it up bit by bit. Of course that's what the flood is doing. Not that it would seem to work spendidly, unsurprisingly. Zombies aren't known for their intelligence, after all.
@@herrakaarme yes you are right under normal circumstances what I just said doesn’t apply it’s a shame that that’s how the flood works and the best way to explain it is with iq sense that’s the only thing that can measure intelligence at this point
