Following your journey so far you have honestly really been improving from not really dying as much To basically beating bosses in a single try more often (even if you do make it harder on yourself like staying in the water the whole time which I do find cutely admirable) (Also if you ever play these again the hint to aim with AK's and other weapons is to very lightly press the attack button which allows you to hold it up to aim You are even able to aim and shoot rather quickly and accurently and just how much you are absolutely loving the story And the fricken wackyness that is metal gear is bringing a huge damn smile to my heart Really becoming a Pomu fan as I go back through all of these *Salutes* Well if I was gonna follow anyone it would defin be the one that inherited Big Boss's Legacy Plus she's fucken cute

Oh, you took down the Pain? Fun fact about that fight, if you toss a Hornet's Nest from your inventory it'll distract his bees. Then when they go into the Nest, you can actually pick it up again and get one of the best food items in the early game. Oh and speaking of food items, when your food spoils, you can actually get use out of them by throwing them where enemies will spot them. Their reactions are well worth it.

You know, I've played this game through a number of times, and I've seen these codec conversations. But it didn't really occur to me until watching them here, now, that Snake (v1) is probably doing some of these things not for the 'tactical advantages' or because he doesn't know better, but just to mess with his colleagues. By the way, I don't think it was mentioned or discovered, but the cave section, where you can't see anything because it's dark, but I learned later on that if you wait in there long enough (I think it also works if you save and quit for later), the room will eventually get a little brighter on its own... because Snake's eyes are adjusting to the darkness. (It's also a nice little "oh, sorry you're stuck player, here let's subtly help without necessarily just giving you a solution"). Kojima & crew really thought of everything with this game. ...I'm embarrassing myself, Pomu, it took me all week to actually watch the backlog.

just some tidbit info: rations may taste bad to snake but you can accquire a taste of it for snake. eat enough of any food and it will eventually taste great for snake. you can also starve enemies and deny them their equipment if you can find and blow up their ration and armoury in the area respectively. enemies get knocked out easier when hungry and they use grenades less ( or not at all). they will also try to conserve ammo and ends up shooting at you less, sometimes even using their handgun instead of their ak, making the fights when you are spotted a lot easier

For real tho, the fights with Ocelot & The Pain today were really fun. Pomu's been through so much already with all the bosses in other Metal Gear Solid games, it's great that instead of getting frustrated she just laughs along with chat.

Following your journey so far you have honestly really been improving from not really dying as much
To basically beating bosses in a single try more often (even if you do make it harder on yourself like staying in the water the whole time which I do find cutely admirable) (Also if you ever play these again the hint to aim with AK's and other weapons is to very lightly press the attack button which allows you to hold it up to aim
You are even able to aim and shoot rather quickly and accurently and just how much you are absolutely loving the story
And the fricken wackyness that is metal gear is bringing a huge damn smile to my heart
Really becoming a Pomu fan as I go back through all of these

The man portable hovercraft you see in the game is actually a real thing from the 80s. A common motif in MGS is that whover has Patriots teir funding has black op tier tech thats decades ahead of the IRL setting.
This game is technically the most advanced in terms of survival gameplay mechanics of the entire Metal Gear series.

Oh, you took down the Pain? Fun fact about that fight, if you toss a Hornet's Nest from your inventory it'll distract his bees. Then when they go into the Nest, you can actually pick it up again and get one of the best food items in the early game.
Oh and speaking of food items, when your food spoils, you can actually get use out of them by throwing them where enemies will spot them. Their reactions are well worth it.

Pomu chose to fight the Pain the hardest way possible. That's some dedication right there.
You know, I've played this game through a number of times, and I've seen these codec conversations.
But it didn't really occur to me until watching them here, now, that Snake (v1) is probably doing some of these things not for the 'tactical advantages' or because he doesn't know better, but just to mess with his colleagues.
By the way, I don't think it was mentioned or discovered, but the cave section, where you can't see anything because it's dark, but I learned later on that if you wait in there long enough (I think it also works if you save and quit for later), the room will eventually get a little brighter on its own... because Snake's eyes are adjusting to the darkness. (It's also a nice little "oh, sorry you're stuck player, here let's subtly help without necessarily just giving you a solution").
Kojima & crew really thought of everything with this game.

Pro tip: don’t use fire or salt to remove leaches.
It may cause them to regurgitate back into your wound, causing infection. Also it’s unnecessarily cruel.
Would probably be good to tell us the better methods to remove them. (:

Hey pomu, since your having trouble with the first person view in the grass while crawling, you can peek over it if you hold first person view button with both trigger buttons at the dame time. I hope this helps!

just some tidbit info: rations may taste bad to snake but you can accquire a taste of it for snake. eat enough of any food and it will eventually taste great for snake.
you can also starve enemies and deny them their equipment if you can find and blow up their ration and armoury in the area respectively. enemies get knocked out easier when hungry and they use grenades less ( or not at all). they will also try to conserve ammo and ends up shooting at you less, sometimes even using their handgun instead of their ak, making the fights when you are spotted a lot easier
