    I’ve got the F75 SE LTD also... If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode settings transfers over to all metal mode side and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode and when you’re using that setting while in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default.
    Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum jumps from 2 meters on or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil.

    Great find on the ring and the St Christopher pendant. I really like how all the settings are controlled with one button and one knob. You need a pilot's license to navigate all the buttons on some detectors. Awesome hunt.

    "Bronze Coins"...I recently returned to Japan and hunt mostly for Bronze Coins-
    Got a Fisher F-75 LTD a few months ago and picked up a AT Pro recently. Waiting for winter to do some hunting here because its too hot in the summer where I have to go.
    Did some test on both and the fisher 75 LTD really shined on the bronze coins. There is one coin over here that is really small, just a flake of a coin from the 1500s and worth about $10.00 a coin. The fisher picked it up at 5 inches out and the AT Pro would not pick it up till I got right next to the coil.
    The larger coins came close to the fisher maybe a inch or two behind.
    I could not believe how good the 75 did on the small coins in the standard mode at 75 sensitivity. I will keep the AT Pro for the rainy days and parks, but will work with the 75 as much as I can for the old stuff.
    This is just FYI for all you bronze coin hunters.

    I have a F75 and I use the all metal mode. My swing is at moderate speed. I get close to 23 coins an hour. The depth on the F75 is 7 to 8 inches.

    That F75 looks like a humdinger or a detector. Those are beyond my price range, however. I hunt with the AT Pro. and the 5x9 coil. Nice finds on the ring and religious pendant. Wherever there have been a lot of people, you will usually find a lot of targets which include clad and jewelry.

    I dont know, if creator of this video is still alive, is stil metal huntin, or is he active on his channel, after 8 9 years from this video until now.
    But, i have few questions. I am also a metal detectorist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the Balkans, in Southeastern Europe. Anyways in my country, we also have big sporting or relaxation areas where alot of people gather and come and go everytime, parks, camps etc.
    I have never considered to go park hunting, with modern findings mostly, like jewelery, new coins etc. Because in my country there are prehistoric, bronze iron age, roman, byzantine, medieval, ottoman turkish, Austrohungarian locations, forts, tradeways, settlements, towers, battlefields, old medieval villages etc. So i go full historic mode, and try to go to these kind of forgotten places to find my relics. But after seeing almost all american MDs are going alot of time to public areas, parks, camps, carnival areas etc. And, what am i asking is l, can someone please like give me a few guidelines, like little bit of intro, some free advice in how to successfully start my urban hunting. Cause it is appealing for me, i want to find some jewelery, modern valuable objects etc so i can make some money. Btw i have a Nokta The Legend. Which has the Park Mode, but i dont know actually how to behave in Park Public areas because of the trash, of the people seeing me, how to search, which spots are like the honey pots in a park, how to deal with pulltabs and all foils bottlecaps etc.

    Looks like a very complicated unit to use. I rather have a more simple turn on and go unit that doesn't require all those settings and ground balancing. I love my easy to use Garrett Ace 350 and I find a lot with it

    I hunt a 1850’s Park what’s good deep setting in trashy iron spots? Should I use the 5” or the factory coil? Thank you for the advice

    • @CarolinaCoinHunter
      @CarolinaCoinHunter  6 лет назад

      I'd give it a go with the stock coil first in the default mode, stable sensitivity, and try one of the 2 tone options with zero disc. If it's mostly iron and not a lot of other trash, this should work well. I'd still go back over the very dense spots with the 5 inch coil. You'll probably find more. I've even used the FA mode with the small coil and still dug 6 inch deep targets. That's worth a shot in real heavy iron. Hope this helps!

    Hello Names Joe good find by the way
    I have one question.
    What you think with the 15 inch coil for the F75ltd-blk
    Have you try it?
    If so what you think about it

    Just curious if you still use this detector and if so do you think it runs up there with the etrac and deus?

    • @CarolinaCoinHunter
      @CarolinaCoinHunter  9 лет назад +1

      +DigDugNY I still use it. It's a very deep machine with a very fast recovery speed. I'd rank it up there pretty high, and the price is considerably less than the etrac or deus. You only get the one frequency, but it is very simple to use. The Boost Process can really see deep, even at low sensitivity settings. GL :)

    I use a Garrett AT-Pro and I have done very well with it for 2016 with a total of 18 gold rings 3 gold necklaces all with gold pendents and 4 more gold pendents with out any chains lots n lots of silver and tons of trash but its ageing so I decided to buy a used f-75 that has not seen much ground so I do hope it works out for me My AT-pro will be hard to beat ...

    Hi guys
    I have been doing some research on a less cost equipment that can help kick start my gold mining business back in Africa and I'm here by coincidence. My home country has a lot of un explored gold in certain locked regions. I'm just looking for the right tool to make operations effective and efficient. Please I will welcome any advice that can help me move forward
    Thank you
