i compared the minis to my original KS copy and the new ones are significantly better. The plastic they used the first time feels a lot softer than the new ones. I think Wayfarer and Herbalist were add ons. my recollection was the former was a previous backer or day 1 promo thing and the latter was added during production. Ironically they seem to go in the seasons 3 tray along with the ghost stories tree and the apricot promo. Same re:expansions. I wonder if it was because I couldn't fit them in my main box though. I had to keep the expansions in their own boxes.
I did a zenithal prime on my original set of minis (which is why I had to use the expansions to compare the quality) and they are significantly better than unpainted even without a wash or drybrush. To do this, take an airbrush or spray can and do a prime all over in black and then do a pass on top with white paint (you can do a gray layer from above if using an airbrush before hitting it from white). If I didn't use them as practice to paint, I would have replaced the gray and white coats which deep green and light green since the original plastic they planned on using was supposed to make them look like jade (they had to cancel it because the plastic turned out so bad). The you get the details popping with an abstract look
@Pecktec Games, did you receive 8 Large Landscape wooden tokens (mountain) , and 8 Small Landscape wooden tokens (house)? I received 16 Small Landscape wooden tokens. All House and no Mountain. Thanks!
Thank you. I didnt get the big box but the Pagodas! Not too bad now that i know what they look like...

Great video! I expect I have to wait about 4-6 weeks for my copy here in the Netherlands.
Hope you enjoy it!

I unfortunately only have the normal minis as I could only get the big box from backerkit. What can I do to better the original minis?
Did the bags you got in the Seasons expansion have mold on them? Mine did. Oh and the cards are for solo scenarios. Saw it on the campaign page.
Wow no I didn't notice any? Did you say it was on the cards also?
Please add link to where we can print off those color photos you're using in the video.
It’s in the files section of the tang garden boardgamegeek page.
The bottom tray with the gazebos, it might not fit if you dont have them laying down a certain way, that was my issue.
Yeah I discovered that too there is a specific way to place those gazebos.
Yeah... pagodas are sh!t... I wasn't able to finish them. I'll wait to 3d print them or something.

I think I already had those tokens from the last campaign.
