Yes it seems Tim at Ardens did a good setup on it, all I did was lower the action a bit more which honestly is now below factory spec and tweaked the intonation accordingly. Cheers Terry!!
How do i tighten tremolo bridge screw ? Should i do a proper adjustment or just tighten in all the way ? I need to fix that screw before going on with string action and intonation. Gimme some enlightenment
Do you have any idea what the starting point or neutral position is for the first saddle you adjust or does it not even matter? Basically, I installed new saddles and have them halfway screwed in evenly, I'm wondering if there's a certain distance or "neutral" position you need before you start moving the saddles up and down.
No real starting point, I usually take a photo before removing the saddles to have a rough idea where they go and then once installing them fine tune with a tuner.
Cool man. You know what is a good very accurate clip on tuner. TC Electronic Unitune, its .02 cents accurate. It's similar to the polytune clip on it just doesn't have the polytune feature and it's cheaper. They are affordable in the US but probably pricey in Canada tho.
That's a nice blue. Do you use roller saddles. I have cheap saddles and seem to get a funky twang out of nowhere all of sudden. Goes away if I push on the saddles. lol I think I will buy some new ones. I'm determined to make this cheap thing play good.
Nice work Ben..... Love Jackson's!! Rock On!
Thanks Charles, I agree!! Cheers!!
@4:23 THANK YOU !!! Was just about to call you out on that one. DOH!!!
I'm a rebel, I never do it that way!! Cheers Quentin!!

Oh yeah!! I've been playing it quite a bit this week!! Cheers!!
There ya go! And you said the most important thing, it should be done in playing position! Nice!!! I'm proud of you! 🤣
I said it, but never do it lol!! Cheers Dave!!
That blue really jumps out at u!! learning how to intonate is such a great skill to have! awesome video! cheers!
Thanks Gussy and yes it does!! Cheers!!
I did mine last week. Humid an all now. I get it close I aim for a tad sharp if not dead on
Good man, I check my intonation every 3-4 months as the seasons change. Cheers Joe!!
Great job, Ben !! ♫
Thanks!!
Nice job, didnt seem like it needed much work!! Bonus !! :)

Nice color on your Jackson. Also beer on the floor is a good idea for a non slip surface.
LOL!! Yes, I hadn't mopped the floor yet when I made this, but yes spilled beer for safety reasons!!

Cool J!! I'll have to pick one up and try it!!
I did the impossible with my guitar but no result except the first string high E ( jackson js 22 )

I have roller saddles on one of my Teles, I don't mind them. Cheers Michael!!
Your Jackson JS11bridge looks a heck of a lot easier to intonate than this 1988 Jackson JT-6 bridge I just did!
Oh hell ya!! Just a basic Strat style bridge!! Cheers!!
I want to change my gotoh tremolo, which model I should buy.
If it's a fulcrum style like this go with a Wilkinson. If it's a locking trem like a Floyd Rose I'd recommend the FU2 bridge from Fu-Tone.
Your ok Ben i know that one is yours mate, so keep it and enjoy, Lmao, Cheers Buddy
LOL thanks Casper!! Cheers buddy!!
Do these need the int set when new out of the box?
It shouldn't but some do.
I hope you don't "gooch" it ! HA ! Cheers cuz ! ;-)
The bench remains a gooch free zone....for now!!! LOL Cheers Todd!!
@@BenCoombs It did look kind of like "Dave's World of Fun Stuff" though ! ;-) Glad it was gooch free !
LOL true!! plus I set my intonation like him with the guitar laid down and not in playing position.
@@BenCoombs Me too !

Am a beginner so what should I go for ?
Hard to say it's the best as it depends on the type of music you want to play but this is a great low end beginner guitar.
