    Such pros! How are you tearing that packing tape and shrink wrap without cutters or knives?

    Excellent wrap of the dresser.
    Question: where did you place the hardware for the dresser.
    You will find that cardboard comes in handy at times, especially for that mirror or any application with glass

      @RescueMoversDFW  6 лет назад

      Truck Taxi thank you for your watching our video. The hardware stays attached to the back of the dresser in a little bag. What cardboard you're talking about?

      You can also screw them back into the holes they came out of. Guaranteed not to loose them.

    Trust me guys, I have no problem in the way you work. I just want to know if the Shrink Wrap you use sticks to itself? Also, does it stay on tight while the items are in storage?

      You supposed to put them in a small ziplock bag attach them to the back of the dresser with some tape

    • @henryhawkins1194
      @henryhawkins1194 7 месяцев назад

      I never attached anything to the back of dressers, I would put them in a parts box or put in zip lock bag and tape to inside top left dresser drawer.

    Would you suggest taking the legs off from the bedroom dresser drawer and the pull knobs or leave the legs on, so it could lay flat in the truck.

      Mark Brown if you can take the legs off that would be better, no worries about the knobs

    What do you call that plastic you're using to wrap the dresser? Is there a general name? I am moving and want to buy some (I'm in Canada). Thank you.

      Pathetic amount of tape. But that is their wasted time and material. At this rate they will spend 1/3 of their life taping stuff lol. Essays

    What happened to just using bands.... And the mirror should have been in a carton or apply cardboard on the mirror Side for added protection unless you place it in between a mattress or any smooth facing within the load...

    • @RescueMoversDFW
      @RescueMoversDFW  6 лет назад +1

      NYStateofMind1000 We used blankets and shrink wrap for faster and better grip. We have experience packers and movers so the mirror won't break.

      #Daniel Rescue Movers shrink wrap really is a waste of time and money unless the customer is paying for it. Aside from packing, tape and shrink should be used at minimal when moving. There's no real wrong way other than not protecting the furniture. But bands and pads is all you really need to protect most of the furniture and carrying is based on technique, awareness, common sense and the individuals if trained properly. A mover should always be safe and use the easiest and safest way too move, but I'm a different breed I train guys to learn proper carrying techniques so they're use to it when it's needed.

    • @RescueMoversDFW
      @RescueMoversDFW  6 лет назад +3

      NYStateofMind1000 agree with you, we used have rubber bands long time ago now since we're a different level and also customer pay for packing materials and also they love the wrapping stuff that's why we do it this way now. Like I said we used to be get cheap jobs, not any more, you'll get what pay for it . We're beyond that 😎😎😎

    • @ChuckPike
      @ChuckPike 6 лет назад +1

      Daniel Rescue Movers You're not at a "different level" if you're using tape and shrink wrap instead of bands. It's lazy training and the people you train pick up your bad tape habits.

    • @RescueMoversDFW
      @RescueMoversDFW  6 лет назад

      Chuck Pike I guess , ok I'll post another video using rubber bands vs tape . I know it's cheaper using rubber bands and we save money but like you said we'll start using rubber bands, I was just kidding about the different level . Thank you for comment and I agreed with you.

    If you guys ever get tired of picking tape out of you pads you might just find that rubber bands are a superior alternative.

    • @RescueMoversDFW
      @RescueMoversDFW  7 лет назад +6

      We had used rubber bands in the past when we just started on business!!! Now we are superior movers that's why we now use tape its more secure and professional at the level we are now but its ok we understand your tip. Thanks

    • @TruckTaxiMoveIt
      @TruckTaxiMoveIt 6 лет назад +2

      Rubber bands are a better material for most common applications however you've got to factor in useful life. Given the utility of tape -- always fresh and fits all sizes -- IT'S HARD TO BEAT IT.
      Personally I would have wrapped the mirror in cardboard,. But it just doesn't look as professional

    • @ChuckPike
      @ChuckPike 6 лет назад +1

      Exactly, superior movers use as little tape as possible. The mirror should have been packed as well.

      And you guys still bitch about using bands, I band and shrink wrap, and dont snitch or sniff, so that mean when it gets slow the junkies are working stealing and ruining peoples furniture
