Am I allowed to open an LTCGS (Long Term Capital Gains) account after July 31 but before December 31, and subsequently proceed with filing an ITR?

As I think, you have given information very clearly. One thing, that I want to point out that residential property can be purchased either before one year or after two years of the date of sale of property. Also profit deposited in capital gain account should be utilised before the two years.

ITR submission is 31st July 24. I buy house in July 24 agst land sold in January 24. How the purchase will be part of return to be submitted for FY24 as the purchase is in July FY25

Sir, like you said in this video a person has to hold on the house for 3 years from sale of land. If one takes a housing loan also for construction of such house, will he has to continue with such housing loan for 3 years or 5 years, to get the benefits from income tax. Please explain.
