    I had sold shares and mutual fund one month ago need to pay developer with in 15 days from today 25 sep 2024
    For buying under construction flat which would be ready within 18 months from today
    My question is should i open a capital gain account for tax saving or not because of short duration transaction

    If property purchase on 1990. Then cost of acquisition on 2001 is SDV or FMV which ever is lower . Or we take FMV on 2001 plz suggest

    I have one query can I buy more than one urban agriculture from multiple land owner to save on LTCG (under sec 54B) recived from sale of one urban agriculture land as the amount capital gain is large (high)
    Or can I buy both a urban agriculture land with part of that long term capital gain as well build house part of the long term capital gain and if something excess remains can I invest in bonds under 54EC together to save utilising the entire sale proceeds (Principal as well as the the profits realised as LTCG)

    The assessee must not own more than one house ......
    1) If i have one property and want a new property , am i eligible to claim under 54 F ?
    2) Under 54 F , is sale of RBI gold bond and silverware can be included to exempt LTCG ?
    So can I club sell of shares, RBI gold bonds and silver ware to buy second house ?

    I'm an INDIVIDUAL. I sold my Residential Plot/Land (3000Sq.ft). From Capital gain, I invested 25% in Capital Bonds. From Balance 75% I bought a new Residential Plot. Do I get exemption?
    Do I need to construct anything there? I've not constructed anything there yet. I want to keep the plot as investment only & dont want to construct anything.

    प्रॉपर्टी बेचने के बाद कैपिटल गैन टैक्स बचाने के लिए, क्या पूरा सेल अमाउंट इन्वेस्ट करना होता है या सिर्फ उतना अमाउंट इन्वेस्ट करना होता है जितना कैपिटल गैन हुआ है।
    मेरा दूसरा प्रश्न यह है कि यदि हम कोई जमीन खरीदने हैं और जमीन खरीदने के लिए पेमेंट इंस्टॉलमेंट में 10 सालों के अंतराल में अलग अलग सालों में देते हैं तो क्या इंडेक्सेशन इन सभी अलग अलग सालों में कैलकुलेट करना होगा ताकि जमीन बेचते समय इंडेक्सेशन का अधिकतम फायदा मिल सके। और बेचते समय कैपिटल गैन टैक्स कम से काम बने। क्या यह सही होगा।

    Sir if I sell my plot and the purchaser make the payment from his account as well some loan (payment to my account directly from bank)
    BUT purchaser registered the plot in his wife's name
    Is it OK or I object it
    Any obligation from taxation point for me

      No issue but take affidavit that he made the payment on her wife behalf to avoid litigation

    Sir, l sold a flat and earned RS 323400. My daughter is purchasing a flat. Can I give her RS 323400 through Bank to save my LTCG tax? Your kind reply is solicited.

      You can't transfer money to your daughter's account, you have to pay money from your bank account to the seller's account to avail the deduction

    54F में 2 साल से पहले दूसरा घर नही ले सकते और 3 साल से पहले दूसरा घर नही बना सकते। ये time कब से काउंट होगा, जिस दिन land बेची थी या जिस दिन पहला घर खरीदा था। मतलब अगर घर land बेचने के 23 महीने बाद खरीदा हो तो time की counting कब से होगी।
