Lack of support?! After the draft "he's going into the best situation with stars all over the team." Now because the other rookies are catching on quicker he's magically not got support? WTF?! Sounding like Jerry talking about Dallas. 🤦🏾♂️
Coaching is an big part of having support. Why is Malik Willis roughly 1 month in as an Packer player looking decent as an NFL player and Williams an half season in as rookie isnt? My guess is coaching.
I think back to the preseason and there was talk about the bears giving Caleb the playbook on zoom calls before the draft. It was its expectation that he’s plug and play forgot he is a rookie we seen this so many times you would think that NFL coaches would know that no matter how good he is in college. It does not translate to the NFL a learning curve most of the time.
That stupid talk that the bears are failing Caleb... Coaching Situation is not worse than the Pats one. Supporting cast is much better than the Broncos, Patriots and Commanders - arguably even the best for any 1st overall pick. He's missing open throws every night, he's holding the ball forever and gets sacked way too much, which is not completely his fault, but more often than not. If we look at the fellow drafties, Daniels is looking like the far superior player, Maye already had elite flashes and Nix is really starting to look like a really good NFL starting QB. It's just not working out so far and it's not at all just the Bears fault.
I'd put Brock Purdy on the Kirk Cousins in Washington situation. The 49ers need to upgrade in the secondary, special teams, and O-Line. Let him prove it for one year before ALL the BIG money. Just look at the Dak situation in Dallas...the 49ers already gave the wide receiver the contract, and he is your Dak.😢
If Giants are smart, they'll build the rest of the team up this off-season, Drew plays all next year & if you suck then 26 draft you get your guy, maybe Arch.
Caleb Williams is the next Trevor Lawrence... ''Best prospect out of college since Andrew Luck''.... Both won't live up to the hype but will still get overpaid and will under perform over and over again.
Colin trying to defend his boy..lol…..talk about lack,of support….check fields team around him…awful defense, awful line and hardly any weapons…..I would have loved to see Fields with this defense and weapons in Chicago…
Here come all the excuses for Caleb That arrogant, nail painting fruit cup has WAY more support than Fields ever got but since he’s the chosen one y’all gotta blame everyone but him
Let's be clear! Bears General Manager Ryan Poles stripped the Bears roster to the bare bones in order to TANK/LOSE ON PURPOSE during Fields firs full season as starting QB. There is no more egregious "lack of support" than that. Yet, Justin Fields ran for his life into the NFL RECORD BOOK #2 ALL-TIME and his cleats confiscated by the NFL HALL OF FAME. That's the season Fields (The most accurate College QB in PFF's history) picked up the "Running QB" stigma. So NO F****** EXCUSES for the "Generational" QB4 of the 2024 NFL DRAFT! A FRANCHISE CHANGING GENERATIONAL DRAFT HAUL was passed on to draft this overhyped QB4!
Got to love Talking Heads. These are the same guys that said when Williams got drafted this was the best place a rookie QB could be. Now he needs more help? Does he need someone to play for him too? He misses throws, can't read a defense holds the ball all day. Can only throw to open WRs and can't throw a WR open which you have yo do in the NFL. You throw to where the WR is going to be not where he is now. I'll say it again. Williams had huge flaws in college that he got away with because 95% of the defense in college now suck. In the NFL he'll not get away with those huge flaws. The NFL with punish him for them and it is. Williams coming out of college had a greater chance at being a bust then being a great player.
But I thought williams was gods gift to the position. hes a bust.

If we look at the fellow drafties, Daniels is looking like the far superior player, Maye already had elite flashes and Nix is really starting to look like a really good NFL starting QB. It's just not working out so far and it's not at all just the Bears fault.
Philly/ Commanders game should be EPIC! NFC East is back!!!!
Commanders may have hit the wall a bit, just win and loss.
Purdy is better than Dak.
If Giants are smart, they'll build the rest of the team up this off-season, Drew plays all next year & if you suck then 26 draft you get your guy, maybe Arch.
Giants are playing for the #1 pick.
But will they take a qb and will they take a black qb instead of a white?.
How many remember all the experts were talking last season about Mike Tomlin getting fired/stepping down, but seeing you guys don't know squat. LOL
Albert doesn't say anything groundbreaking, lol.
Pats HC Mayo is so bad, it takes the Bears to make his act look like its professional.
I’ve seen this kid for three years… honestly think he is trying to get the coaches fired.
Caleb Williams = Johnny Manziel.
I don’t think Russ is agreeing to play like Seattle Sean Peyton wasn’t will you let him that was the entire problem
The excuse train is long for caleb williams.. where colin was wrong
Colin such a clear hater on Niners now. And has goal to promote LA football No matter What ,but it isn't working
Here come all the excuses for Caleb
That arrogant, nail painting fruit cup has WAY more support than Fields ever got but since he’s the chosen one y’all gotta blame everyone but him
Let's be clear!
Caleb is QB1
Pulling Daniel is stupid annoying footballl
Albert "Nothing Burger" Breer
Caleb is a bust! Bears gifted the best QB in the draft to the Commanders! No question...
No no no he just smells Bert lies constantly
Panthers will be the Panthers and trade for Jones in the off-season
The Russ hate continues!!! Breer is comical!!!
But I thought williams was gods gift to the position. hes a bust.
Nobody wants to wait. Troy Aikman and Peyton Manning were 🗑️🗑️🚽🚽 their rookie season. A competent QB that can be All Pro / Pro Bowl is not created in microwave.
albert breer lost credibility in my book when he was hyping up the jets hype train in the beginning of the season
9ers window closing fast.
I think it's more of a retool. Also Shanahan needs an OC or someone to challenge him.
@PeterDahu Retool. Lol. Must be joking right. Not only are the players getting older, but they are becoming more injury prone. Your best player has tendinitis in his knee. Broc Purdy salary will go from $1M to $50M. My friend you are not retooling, you are declining. .
@JAmCaM212 You seem salty but they also have a QB and young core. You are confusing your hopes with what you are seeing.
@@PeterDahu I think you are emotionally speaking. Can you refute anything I said? Are the players becoming injury prone? Yes. Does CMC has tendinitis? Yes. Will Brock salary increase? Yes. Have the 49ers decline by taking a step back this season? Yes. Please respond with facts. Too many emotional guys in society nowadays.
@@JAmCaM212 Emotionally speaking. I'm not the one going berserk desperately wishing for the Niners to fail. You must be a Rams or something
49ers are done they paid everyone and it’s over it’s always over when everyone me gets paid
Y’all wanna blame everyone around him and not the actual guy… why? Because y’all built him up as a “generational” talent and can’t be made to look stupid now? Dude was doing this in college. Holding on to the ball too long and can’t play within structure.
Caleb is trash
worst offensive coordinator in the league great idea poles
Nobody wants to admit Caleb was overrated in college he didn’t put up good numbers against good teams
Hes a slower less evasive Kyker Murray with less arm talent.
Bears would be better off with a madden king oc calliing the game from his couch
