I just received 2 lbs of MGS-1 today, and I'm excited to try it. Were perchlorates added to the simulant in this experiment?
I won't be adding them for safety reasons, but I'm interested to know whether or not they contribute significantly to the detriment of plant growth.

I wonder what role bacteria can play.

Strange, I have cacti thriving in a 100% martian garden regolith.
