PRAYER FOR SALVATION:
If you are not saved by way of Jesus Christ and want to be saved read this prayer out loud:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name. Amen

PRAYER FOR RE-DEDICATION:
Lord Jesus I come to you now in a state of repentance.
I know that I have not been living my life the way that I should be as a Christian.
I am so grateful for the grace that You have given me as Your child.
Lord, grant me the strength to overcome the ways of this world and to turn to You in all situations.
Help me to know You more and to desire to walk with You.
I choose today to re-commit to living my life as a follower of Jesus and to turn away from the ways of the world.
I pray that you will honor my prayer and that you Holy Spirit will grant me the strength to overcome in my day to day life.
I thank you for saving me and I offer myself now to You as a living sacrifice.

Book answer to question4b. By controlling their thoughts.
Book answer for question 3a. By meditating on it, by pondering on it, by contemplating it, by rehearsing or practicing it in our thinking.
Book answer to question 5a. Our sensual nature. The impulses of our flesh, the thoughts of our carnal mind.
Book answer to 7b. God’s way of thinking.
Book answer to 8a. Our thoughts affect our attitudes and moods.
Book answer to 8c. It can help you locate some of your problems and be on your way to freedom very quickly.
Book answer for question 2b. They do not delve into the word of God very deeply. As a result, they get confused about why they are not powerful Christians living victorious lives.
Book answer to 7a. So that we may prove for ourselves what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for us.
Book answer for question 3b. We really do not expect to be experts at anything in life without a lot of practice, so why would we expect Christianity to be different?
Book answer to question 5b. To make sure we are not thinking all the wrong things.
Book answer to question 6a. He literally came through the problem by choosing to remember the good times of the past - pondering the doing of God and the works of his hands. In other words, he thought on something good, and it helped him overcome depression.
Book answer to question 4a. Meditate on the word of God day and night.
Book answer to question 6b. It is the power of the Holy Spirit working through the Word of God that brings victory into our lives. But a large part of the work that needs to be done is for us to line up our thinking with God and His word. If we refuse to do this or think it is unimportant, we will never experience victory.
Book answer for question 2 a. We will get from the Word of God what we put into it.
Book answer to 8b. By deceiving them into thinking that the source of their misery or trouble is something other than what it really is. He wants them to think they are unhappy due to what is going on around them (their circumstances), but the misery is actually due to what is going on inside of them (their thoughts).
Book answer for question number one. The precepts of God - his instructions and teachings. We will prosper and come to maturity.

Amen! Excellent chapter! And praise God, I have an undamaged book! I am going to try to catch up to where you ladies are, although I don't want to rush through chapters 1 through whatever and miss getting the truths of this study into my life. I guess we will see how it goes 🙂
