Hi everyone! Today I present to you a delicious eggplant recipe, which I absolutely love! Eggplant stuffed with chicken and baked peppers with tomato sauce, are perfect for lunch or dinner. The whole family will love them! A few simple ingredients are enough to prepare a healthy and very tasty dish. Eggplants made in this way I prepare them very often and I never get tired of eating them! Ingredients:
- 5 eggplants
- 1 pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 300 gr of chicken breast
- 600 ml of tomato pulp
- 20 gr of Parmesan cheese
- Salt, pepper, paprika, oregano
- Olive oil

I like the contrasting tomato flavours - spicy in the eggplant, sweet on the outisde. I replaced chicken with mushrooms for a vehetatian option.

I am from India. This reminds me of another Egg plant Dish - Imam Bayildi. I loved it. Turkish cuisine has many vegetarian options. Recette can you post Imam Bayildi? Thanks.
Imam Bayildi is the COLD served vegetarian version of this dish with only veggies in the eggplants as a filling and cooked definitely with olive oil and then kept in the fridge. Above presented version is called Karniyarik and actually never ccooked with chicken rather than with minced meat as a filling. And cheese is another no go for this recipe.

Noi turchi prepariamo quel piatto friggendo le melanzane girandole avanti e indietro in una padella di teflon a basso contenuto di fibre.Dopo la frittura, tagliamo al centro la carne macinata e facciamo soffriggere il peperone verde sottile e il pomodoro e li mettiamo dentro. acqua con il concentrato di pomodoro e cuocetela al forno o sul fuoco, è molto saporita e leggera nella frittura

Minha mãe aferventava as cascas reservava o recheio. Refogada com pão demolhado com leite alho cebola anchovas azeitonas picadas sal tipo alheiras. Fazia os bolinhos e recheava as cascas. Forno com queijo parmesão. Deliciosas. Obra por dar essa boa receita. Boa noite.

@@Thewonderingminds You know nothing about the Harem. Çolak is a noun that denotes a one-armed person. My paternal ancestors must have lost an arm in the Russo-Turkish war ( 19th C). Oğlu means “ son”, like “ sohn” in German, “son” in English and Scandinavian languages. Hence my surname: Çolakoğlu. I recomend that you stop babbling with a historian/ political scientist.

BTW plenty of last names with Çolak, and everyone knowingly accept Çolak to be ruggy, commonly in dress.
Now Oğlu you don't find in early turkish records at all, it has been added on for __certain__ people .

Porém tenho muito cuidado, pois sempre encontramos aquelas LARVAS ESBRANQUIÇADAS DENTRO, E LOGICAMENTE TEMOS QUE REMOVE-LAS. EM CERTAS RECEITAS TODO CUIDADO É POUCO. Muitas das vezes temos que escolher muito bem ao compra-las, pois se as mesmas estiverem com pequenos buraquinhos, é sinal que por DENTRO ESTÃO COM LARVAS.

Я такое есть не буду:
1. Очень расточительно. Весь соус так и останется на противне. А потом куда его?
2.Баклажаны в кожуре. Для меня это неприемлемо. Баклажаны в той местности, где живу я, принято очищать от кожуры.
3. Вот представил себе: если меня пригласят в гости и подадут на тарелочке ....эти черные калоши, то из гостей я уйду голодным.😁😄😅

Меня арабы этому рецепту научили, только они, ну и я соответственно чистим баклажан полосками, типа арбуза, запекаем в духовке или обжариваем со всех сторон на сковороде. Потом маленькой ложечкой утаптываем выемку и укладываем фарш. Я его переделала под свой вкус. Фарширую овощами, без курицы и запекаю на нарезаных кольцами помидорах. Горкой выкладываю на блюде рис а сверху баклажаны. Это так красиво, а вкусно.. причём холодные баклажаны ещё вкуснее.
