I love Anis, she is an actually flawed character who unlike Neon or Rapi is so afraid of death. She has been with the commander for a couple of weeks and Neon less, and terrible stuff keeps happening to them so you can understand why she has this stance. she makes it clear, as though she dislikes be a Nikke. However now it would mean she never met the commander she wouldn't know how she would have been. Anis later shows this and develops as a character to which she will ALWAYS have Rapi's Neon's and the Cummanders back in life and death. Trusting them with her life.
chapter 7 is pretty much the chapter that hooked me on the story of the game with how badass Snow White is and the modernia/marian reveal. Great stuff on those recap

I like to think Nikkes like super sexy Robocops, human brain inside machines. the scene in robocop 2 where the bad guys brain is stuck inside a vat but hes completely aware, cant think of nightmare fuel worse than this
I'm still amazed how Smol White, from the Red Ash event, becomes the Swole White we see in this moment of the story. I'm calling it now; she must have had a Mind Switch at some point.

For comparison, the armor belt on an Iowa class battleship is 12 inches and can take hits from 16 inch guns. I've fired a LOT of shotguns in my time, but I ain't ever seen one that can take a BB.

I have to say, watching the commander bust out that Mustang dance had me thinking: if I had to dance to save the galaxy, the Reapers would be shaking in their boots. And let's not even get started on Ludmilla's 'magic touch' with technology. Reminds me of Tali accidentally triggering a Geth alarm. Also, those sleeping princesses? 20:50 I’m a bit confused, how can a Nikke’s rifle be too heavy and have too much recoil? Sure that can be a good explanation for some rifles similar to Snow White’s, but what about ones like diesel’s? It’s pretty much just a standard RPK, and those are usually gonna weigh about 10lbs. summer Neon’s rifle is just an ARPK or a colt LMG (which was designed to be used in Vietnam if I remember correctly but never really saw much action), which is just an RPK but built around the AR platform. Brid’s is literally just a AR chambered in a pistol caliber based on the magazine in it. ARs in 5.56 are already soft shooting compared to other rounds, so her rifle would be even less than that. So it doesn’t necessarily make sense to send the commander into a literal war zone without a fighting rifle or even body armor. Just seems like the central government is doing what the Russians did in ww2: just send as many bodies as you can to either slow them down or overwhelm them.
Just listened again to Ludmilla's words about not destroying someone else's dreams and work It sounds a whole awful lot like a premonition for Grave and Cinderella now that i've finished chapter 32
When it comes to Alice, I thought id like her better as a fellow Schizophrenic but she's just alright. Wait what? LOL!! Thank you for calling out the Commander stupid. Although the story is well written, the Commander behaves like an 8-year-old naive boy who destroys the immersion. I know they are going for the anime "pure and innocent boy" route, but it just doesn't work for me.
