For sure the romac 2 bolt couplings are superior. I wanted a smooth transition on this repair because I think soon we are going to turn this 3" pipe into a sleeve to pull thru a 1 1/2"ine thru this root Forest..
@tacklebox6239 You would not of. about 50' away was a 90 that blew off do to thrust force. This portion of piping is approximately 1000' away from well head and 50' lower in elevation. Your swing joint would blow off unless you installed thrust block.
I had no idea these existed! That’s great! Good video!
I saw this on the shelf and just had to try it... my first time using this. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks!
Love your content but I don’t trust those telescope fittings. I’d rather use the two bolt pipe couplings
what is a two point pipe coupling? Tried googling it but just came up with repair couplings with no stop in the middle.
@@johnb1567 my bad I didnt proof read it was supposed to say two bolt pipe coupling

I would’ve used a swing joint

@@LearnPlumbing I use riser clamps with L brackets & 5/8 rod to tie it all together. It ain’t going nowhere
