Really is a shame how they treated the Indy legacy by having this dumpster fire be his final outing. I literally was angry and upset watching for the first time in theaters. I had a lot of issues with crystal skull but at least looking back it had that Indy fun we all missed in dial. Such a shame😢
Logan was always a thoughtless remake of Children of Men but with mutants, so I never understood the praise.
Just fire Kathleen Kennedy.
The dumbest most pointless and boring movie I've seen in years. It actually makes the crystal skull look like a masterpiece. And that's a terrible movie..
I have no idea why Mangold isn't seen as the hack he so obviously is. LOGAN is one of the dumbest films in the superhero genre.
For the record, this movie wasn f'n sh1t. But quoting Doomcock? That guy is like 0-8000 on his Disney scoops. New ending could have meant anything. Like a few seconds added/removed due to some editing. I mean you did mention all the versions. How is it not possible the end product was another? Reshoots wrapped half a year before John's comment.
You should watch Crystal Skull again, that movie is awful. But maybe we have different tastes as I thought on my only viewing the train sequence was the worst Indiana thing ever. Also I’m all for a James Bond female character as I’ve always interpreted the name as fake (and I don’t care what the Craig movies tried doing to undo that). But never thought as Indy could have one, but if we must let’s caller Lara something, maybe Croft. Yeah that works.

Because if it’s so you can complain about Disney…then YOU PEOPLE ARE A NON-ZERO PERCENTAGE OF THE PROBLEM.
I haven’t seen dizindy and never will. I didn’t need to see it to tell you it would be hot garbage. And it isn’t insightful to tell everyone else how hot garbage it is.
Jesus people you all know you’re supporting hot garbage with your Disney+ subscription dollars…right?

I did not love Dial of Destiny, but I'm so over the hate of Disney. They're awful like any other corproation, but the product they put out is on the audience. One, I accept the double standard between women and men. When women are confident we call it smug, when men are confident we call it confidence. Bridge is no more "smug" then Dwayne Johnston or Jason Statham in any of their movies, but gets labelled differently for the exact same behaviour because she's female. It is what it is sadly.
But also, Harrison Ford is 81, what did anyone expect? But why did Disney make that movie, because it's an IP people recognize. Look at the list of original movies released in 2023, and then see how they did. Disney, like any other corporation, makes a product they think their customer wants. If we want original movies, then we have to pay for them. Yes, pay for them. But if the only thing people pay to see in theatres/buy a copy of are known IP's (and we pirate everything else), then we're gonna get studios dragging back actors pass their prime and get things like Dial of Destiny.
And sequels can be good (I really liked Scream 6, Guardians 3 and MI). But if that is all we see, then that is all we're gonna get.
