I hope yall enjoyed the video! If you have a more efficient way to do any of the tips I laid out here or if you want to chime in with your own favorite automation tips, feel free leave a comment! :-)
Tip #1 is incredibly helpful to learn man! In the past I would have to delete the plugin and then reload it again since I had no clue how to delete the automated parameters. Great vid once again dude!
The first one was definitely a massive pain point for me for a while. Trying to figure out why my parameters kept jumping back even after removing the clip from the playlist was super frustrating! Another handy tip along the lines of the copy state function, is that you can have a single clip control multiple parameters. I generally do it by moving the parameter I want to link to an existing clip, then on the last tweaked > link to controller option, you can select existing automation clip in the 'internal controller' dropdown. Just make sure 'remove conflicts' isn't selected, as this will remove the original automation clip target!
Was in the same exact boat with that first one Mick! It genuinely made me hate automating in FL Studio for so long! That’s a really great tip Mick I actually had never heard of that! Crazy how theres always so much more out there to learn about FL haha
