Hi from Ireland love the work you do, being a welder for 30yrs myself have to say your pretty handy with the torch 👍🏻, just a tip if you don’t have heavy filler wire, tack two strands of the small stuff together side by side 😉, I’m mainly industrial pipe welding the last few years and it’s a trick I’ve used when I’m stuck for heavier wire, looking forward to the end product on this build 👍🏻

Love your work as always. One note on the frame splice. Vertical is perfectly fine. A properly executed butt joint will fail at the base material adjacent to the weld, not the weld. The whole angle and Z joint thing is an old wives tail, a non applicable carry over from wood working.

Another great video, thanks. It's starting to warm up here in northern Indiana, USA. In a few weeks I can start on the chassis on my 53 Chevy 3100 pickup. I'm running a 1000+HP 6-71 blown NOS Chevy inline 6 292 so I need to do quite a bit of work on the chassis. I really like your attention to detail and after watching you I think I can do this. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

While I admire and marvel at your attempts to locate and drill rivet holes there were significant production tolerances in that era. You will no doubt be creating a vehicle with significantly closer tolerances than original.

Cricket bat? Y’all have athletic bugs down there? Is this your day job, or do you have a regular income and this is a business beginning? Got started on the single seat build, haven’t had time to get to your first videos. Wish that I still had your enthusiasm! Long ago did, but now keeping up with my heroes takes priority! But at 71 I have 65 years of work experience and can enjoy craftsmanship from a seasoned perspective. And best of all I am still learning! Great stuff you are doing. Hurry up and get it rolling! Can’t wait……😅
