Honestly I went into the dealership to buy a GLC and I felt very claustrophobic in the front and back and I’m 5’ 11”. The salesman then told me about and showed me the GLB and said I would have more room even though the dimensions on the GLC is listed as bigger, and he was right!!! So I ended up buying the GLB with absolutely no regret, as I think it’s a better buy in that class if you want more room with luxury appointments!
I tell taller people all the time - even though the GLB is technically lower to the ground, you get more ceiling height! Thank you for watching and enjoy! - Pat
I ❤ the way you present, simple & straight forward...😊👍 No joke, no drama, no hate, no exaggerating, no extra curricular, JUST FACTS...😊👍 Congratulations for having that skills 🎊 BTW I'm watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I've enjoyed leasing Mercedes Benz vehicles for over a decade now and went from the the C-class sedans right into the debut of the GLB. Having a compact SUV was such a game changer because it offers a much more commanding, safe driving experience and you get a lot more space too. This refresh made the GLB so much better, with Mercedes Benz understanding where this model fits in their lineup even moreso. What I'll say is that Mercedes knows this model, which is a lower price point than the GLC, is a better value. So much so that they waited months after the release date of the GLC to debut this refreshed model. You get loads of head room, even with the standard panoramic sunroof, wireless carplay (overrated but a selling point) and plenty refined features that make it a model worth seriously considering.
What comes in the Premium Package (GLB250)? Is this an add on. And other than blind spot monitoring & the back up camera, are there not any other safety features like lane keep assist? Also, does the GLB 250 come with adaptive cruise control? I don’t see it listed. I also don’t see any videos where you play the audio system. Is it a plain Jane system?
The "Premium Package" has been renamed to the "Exclusive Trim" and includes: MB Navigation with Live Traffic Service, the Advanced Sound System, Traffic Sign Assist and Illuminated front door sills. The standard sound system is still quite good but the advanced one has more bass. There is also a stand alone option for adaptive cruise control. (based on ordering for 2025)
@ Thank you. I am downsizing from a Cadillac Escalade…which was my dream vehicle that turned into a nightmare. Great vehicle for all those hockey tournaments & training camps we took our kids to, but now that they’re older with their own cars, I am happy to go into a 5 seater that is RELIABLE. I had 60 service visits in the first 4 years of my Caddy Lease. Now I have a cylinder misfire- AFM/lifter issues that started 2 years ago & ignored by the service department. I am so done with crappy, over priced GM products. Dealer tried to put me into an XT5. It’s a great car. Loved the ride. Very fast & smooth. But they wanted $70K CDN for this GM product, that has gone up in price exponentially in the last 3/4 years. Total greed if you ask me. The MSRP on the Sport Package Demo I drove for 5 months on THEIR dime due to the fact that my Escalade was not drivable thanks to their service neglect - was $68K. They advertised it at $70k with no explanation of what was added to the vehicle for $2k. They offered to take my Escalade in on trade. They took $1000 off their $70k XT5 when GM was advertising a $2k allowance at the time, plus I should’ve got a loyalty credit. So the GM of the dealership tried to hose me while keeping the credits for himself. I walked away and kept driving the XT5 for more than 2 months until they finally took it back. This dealership is part of a big Cdn Auto Corp Dealer Network & they are DIRTY & UNSCRUPULOUS! I see a Mercedes SUV 5 seater, such as the GLC200 for less than $70k CDN & I am thinking..the Caddy is way over priced. My friend owns the GLC300 Coupe and has given me her sales person’s name at our local Mercedes dealership. I am excited to test drive the GLC & go from there. 🙏🏼
Very informative review. I just wonder if there are qualitative differences in processing. After all, the models are produced in different plants. I personally find the split display in the GLC a bit unharmonious, but I haven't tried it yet. I find the design of the GLB very appealing both outside and inside. Looks like a little G-Class, its a baby G 😉
Good question and points! They operate fairly similar but you can tell the infotainment systems are different. The GLB was made to be like a baby G Wagon... some agree, some dont haha! Thank you for watching.
Really depends on timing. At the Beginning of 2024 there were more GLBs around, that's were the deals were - now there are deals on both but GLC models are selling quicker. 2025 models are starting to arrive as well.

I had a GLC and got a glb loaner and was shocked at the size. It’s deceiving. I’m now awaiting a glb 35 to be delivered next week!
@ Yep, very deceiving! Trust me you won’t regret your choice! ☺️

YOU ARE THE BEST! What and amazing presentation. Fully satisfied all round. Thanks.
Thank you so much! All the best - Patrick
GLB 35 AMG Patagonia Red. Arrival at December ☺️
Congrats! Great choice!
Very nice review, congratulations, it helped me to make up my mind, thanks.
Glad I could help! Congrats to you.
The second row seat recline is adjustable, which could be another argument to prefer the GLB.
Certainly!
Watching from Kenya very informative
Thanks for watching! Visit Canada any time - Pat
Why does no one show or talk bout the front passenger entry, comfort etc
It's similar to the driver's side other than the steering wheel but we can start to incorporate the passenger side. Thank you for watching.

Why is the glb back seats so high?
They are about the same - might be the angle the video was shot.
Great comparison.
Thank you!
in Indonesia the GLB comes with 2 extra seats at the 3rd row, nice for kids … 😁
Same in Canada! Just an orderable option so not on all of them.
Forget the cars... I just want to know if handsome Patrick is single? Hey Patrick ;)
LOL! Thank you :) -Pat
He is cute!😊
Thank you! :)
It is normal hear clunking down shifting gears 3 to 1 till stop completely on the GLA models ?
No, it's not.
so are there better deals out there on the glb or the glc????

Thanks for watching!
Of course GLC, segments are different.
Nice choice!
