    Beautiful! I think that this would be pretty in shimmer yarn. Maybe a red, white, or a peppermint shimmer it would look like christmas poinsettia.

    Hi Craig, I love and appreciate your tutorials very much, I have crocheted 3 shawls using the Butterfly stich, the Virus meets Granny and the Lakeside Shawl.
    Now my question is: Can this LOVELY Star Lace Stitch pattern also be used for a triangle shawl? I think it will look great, but I can't work out how to do the correct increases.

    Is there a way to increase and decrease using this pattern? I've looked everywhere and I can't find anyone who speaks about increasing and decreasing sizes for such compound patterns.

    I did a base of 100 hdc chains which is 16×5=80 plus the 20...but it doesnt end evenly im not sure what im doing wrong
