First off, the beard keeps hot embers from going strait into your face and down behind your apron. Oh, that ingot heating mini game 😆
Most blacksmiths I knew from RenFair had beards and really large, crazy ones!
Man my first axe head took me a week to forge then it delaminated in the oil, your first 2 axe heads took 30 seconds..❤

Not just crafting simulators but in all games with crafting, I'd prefer minigames to determine the quality of my gear rather than RnG.
