Glad I came across this older video because it helps me compare this train route from what it was like in 2012. I work in the mining industry and have taken this journey a number of times since the late 1990's for work related projects in northern and central Norway and into Sweden but what this video clearly shows is the great amount of growth Norway has seen in both commercial and residential development along this route since even 2012 up to the present day even seen through the windshield of this locomotive. I could tell Norway was growing but this video highlights it like how different the Trondheim airport stop in near Hell Norway has improved since 2012, it looks like in 2012 the new improvements were just beginning and there now done.
@@richardlong3745 Totally agree with you. There have been many changes since 2012 along the entire line. I hope there will soon be a new video available from the entire length of the line, preferably in 4k.

Yes, it still exists and will be upgraded with ERTMS this year. I have heard that there will soon be a new video filmed by one of the drivers, hopefully in 4K. So we just have to wait and see.
