Woods, a ride of a lifetime! Way to go! We’re so happy for you! 🇨🇦
good for that Canadian Dad-looking dude. psyched for him
😆😂
You know highlights are top quality when you watch them even after watching the full stage
I don't follow cycling at all but somehow end up watching each day's TDF highlights.
Excellent effort by Woods. Congrats on his first stage win at the Tour!!
Absolutely brilliant production value on these highlights! I've never been so invested in the TdF and these highlights are the reason why!
Hoping for UAD to give Pogi more support and for him to finally don the maillot jaune sooner than later. Jonas seems to have excellent support until the very last minute when he has to attack or follow Tadej. Makes it considerably easier.
Brilliant highlights once again, keep this up!
YES, deluxe production.
When they are just 5 or 6 guys left it doesn't really matter what support you have. It's the legs of the individual rider that decide who's the best.
I love that the Yates twins are a handful of seconds apart on GC.
What an amazing ride from Rusty Woods 🇨🇦 The Goat!
Another show of real cycling byTadej. When he makes an attack, never looks behind!!
Congratulations to Michael Woods! Go Canada! 🇨🇦
🍁🍁🍁 great ride byu Woods. With Houle last year and woods this year its fun to see canadians on the top spot of the podium.
Stage 9 looks incredible with that course running alongside the train tracks 🛤️
Way to go Mike Woods! I gotta do more loops of Gatineau park!!!!
Wish pogacar win the trophy ❤
Congratulations from 🇨🇦!!
Watching live and waiting for the highlights!! This year its another level!
fantastic highlights, thanks
You guys are amazing, I love these highlights. Cheers
Have been watching other highlights but they PALE in comparison to the production values and storytelling on display here. 100❤
What a heartbreak to Jogersen. His podium got snatched away in the last mile 😢😢
The highlight is so good, live watching movie. Good job!
legendary climb. looking forward to joux plane and la loze.
Congrats to Woods!!! Well deserved!!!
i love this race and cycling in general. even when my fave riders have shockers ha.
wish my country (england) had a cycling history when i was a lad.
and it's great we finally got some decent riders.
Representing 🇨🇦!!!
12% gradient 🥵🥵
Etapa para excelentes ciclistas y eso paso dieron buen espectáculo
Very good
Well. UAE is resting guys for third week or they came with trash support to Pog. Considering last year disaster I hope its the first one... lol
I hope UAE brings Ayuso to the Tour next year, he might be able to keep up with Kuss' pace.
It's Pogacar's legs that count at the business end of the stage. Sometimes people put too much into the importance of the team. Pogacar had his team the whole day yo pour water on him. Fine. But at the end of the day what matters is the legs of the individual rider.
@@simonjrgensen6761 because team is important. Who do you think feel better at the bottom of last climb? Rider whose team paced the last 50km in his comfort zone to his liking or rider who had to adapt to his rival pace that was not comfortable to him. And thats just one example...
@@fangru7294 Riders of Pogacar and Vingegaard's caliber don't care. Maybe if you talk about guys like HIndly, Rodriguez or Yates but Pogacar and Vingegaard don't care. They are that good. They are so much better than the rest. If one of them has an off day and want the pace slower he will be punished by the other rider regardless.
@@simonjrgensen6761 well thats the point though they are that good so smaller things decides which one will get over the other. Also if you have really good team then they can hide your off day by controlling whole stage and mask it. Especialy if its Pog or Jonas cuz they have really good poker faces
Go Go Woods
So happy to see Powless in polka dots. Extending lead, working in breakaways, and getting respect 🫡
Seems like such a sound guy. Hope he can hang on to it!
Jorgensen😢
What an excellent win by Wood
Damn!
One Moment in Time. Whitney Houston
Each day I live
I want to be
A day to give
The best of me
I'm only one
But not alone
My finest day
Is yet unknown
I broke my heart
Fought every gain
To taste the sweet
I face the pain
I rise and fall
Yet through it all
This much remains
I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity
wow
Last year clarke now woods! IsT with the oldie victories!
Canadian got the moves...
Congrats..
Where to watch livestream online 😢
Yong riders hoping to compete for the white Jersey, just can not wait for Pogacar to grow older. Not to mention, REMCO will be coming soon.😂
CAPTAIN CANUCK DOES A SOLID PERFORMANCE
The majority of athletes feel old after they pass 25. there some amazing people showing that this is not right, congrats to M. Woods winning at 37 years young.
Pogacar the Beast
Jumbo Visma will emerge victorious. Jonas and Van Aert will dominate in the next 8 rounds to come.
i thought the winner is from groupama fdj.. that jersey color tho..
Taking breath away fans
Maillot jaune
Jasper Philipsen has a commanding lead in the green jersey due to his reckless and irresponsible behaviour on three stages. In any case, kudos to Woods, really really happy for him.
yh they shouldnt have let him get away with dangerous riding
Where all crowd? it seems lonely after Pyrenees...
The crowd wasn't allowed on the climb because the roads in the last 4k were far too narrow to fit both the riders and the fans, this climb is also a part of a national park that's why they didn't allow the crowd in the last 4k
Not many people at the finish line, must be because of the riots.
The road was closed to spectators for safety reasons
How much longer will these paid commentators mispronounce pogacar name? Forever?
They are pronouncing it correctly😂.
But they ate mispronoumcing Mohorič's name.
@@stefanpodgorsek7687 no. It’s not cha as in the dance but char as in grilling a steak
@@paulsolon6229Neither of those are correct. You are right in that the R should be pronounced, but if you’re a native English speaker the accented C will be butchered as there’s no English equivalent to that sound. The closest is Ch (as in your example of char, or child), but it’s not correct.
I can’t give examples of what it should sound like as English is devoid of such a sound. In Slavic languages Ch has its own letter/pronunciation, different to the C in Pogacar. The closest I can say is that it’s a very abbreviated Ch sound, and the tongue hits the roof of the mouth when pronounced, unlike Ch where the tongue is at the base of the mouth. The distinction may seem trivial or indistinguishable to an English speaker, but as it has its own letter and sound in Slavic languages its importance should be clear.
@@vicvinegar6787 I thought it was Po gotcha
@@rogerc23 The accented C in Slavic languages doesn’t make a ‘ch’ sound, as in the case of gotcha. As the previous commenter mentioned, the R should be very clear at the end. Your pronunciation, with an added strong R at the end, is probably as close as English natives will get, but it’s still not quite right as the Ch sound in English isn’t the same as accented C in Slavic languages, in which the tongue hitting top of mouth is paramount to proper pronunciation.
Pogacar and Vingegaard pulling away like they’re juiced to the gills 😂
Go Jonas Vingegard 💪
Why is Powless being bullied and pushed just to be the King of the Mountain. He can be a winner overall.
Jonas looking strong, considering Pogacar is stronger on the short climbs, he does well to almost follow the slovenian
How was this short climb lol...
@@fangru7294 XD
After pogacar goes past in alpes
Jonas looking strong now, paris is his stage where he will take the lead
@@fangru7294He means short, steep climbs. Considering that the steep section was only the last 4 kms, it was a short climb. Jonas is better at the really long climbs, 15 km and up, which are steep the whole way
@@schmuwabu There is literally no climb that is more than 15km up over 9%.... The closest one would be Col de Ramaz first 10km, Col de joux Plane, Grand Colombier with its first 8km or Col de la Loze with its last 10km...
Ce commentateur ne comprend pas le sujet.
Hahahaha the little hiding behind people vingegad is dying again when he have to do it by himself. We all saw that if there are no his teammates he is a big ZERO.
Because clearly on Stage 5 he was a big Zero…
sorry...that guys voice is just too shrill...can't listen to his performance
The style of presentation is awful: drone footage, fast edits, the "he's going to absolutely blitz it" commentary. It's as if the events, the sport itself is less important than the style of presentation. It's this red bull style adrenalin pumped idea of sports. Quite sad really. The visual quality of the countryside, the riders colours, bikes are all enough of a statement in themselves. I think it needs a rethink.
The most boring stage of Le Tour..
lol no, one of the best stages, with a double suspens.
