65 here, there are people in their 80's that are her fans. Taylor's oldest fan was a 96 y/o WWII veteran, Cyrus Porter, when she found out she went to visit him and his family, she took her mom and dad. He has since died.
I’m only recently discovering the genius and wonder of Taylor Swift. I am 67 years old and have become a huge fan of watching reactions to Taylor here on utube. You, sir, express yourself so well and I enjoy all of your positivity ~ not only in the way you show your appreciation of Taylor, but also in how you attempt to uplift your audience with your philosophy. I wish you nothing but good things in your life. Keep pushin.
Her vocals were on FIRE on this tour and considering the fact that she was struggling physically & mentally with an ED at the time, you can’t tell by her performance 🙏
Those are her backup singers, most of them are still with her, same for her band. You will have to do the rock version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, it is unforgettable.
The tour film for 1989 was filmed in Sydney Australia. There were only a few times on the tour she was in a stadium; mostly it was arenas seating twenty five thousand or so. Gillette near Boston was one stadium that she always seems to have gotten into. This stadium was built in 1999; the 2000 Summer Games used it for some events (originally Olympic Stadium, several name changes, now it seems to be Accor Stadium). They crammed 110K people into it for the Games; more usually, it depends on the event and staging. Taylor had something over 70K . Audio for tour films is taken from the boards, with some mic's for the crowd. It gets remixed for the films, setting levels of crowd noise and adjusting things a bit ---- but she doesn't need much in the way of editing. And, typically, she leaves in mistakes, anyway --- they help make each performance a unique thing. She used to have a backup vocalist and her violinist and one of the guitars for harmony vocals; on the Red Tour in 2013 she recruited 4 backup vocalists (she decided to call them The Starlights; her band is The Agency ). Her people stay with her for the long haul; several of the musicians started working with her in 2007.
I love what you said about her purpose. With all the people who come together at her concerts, I truly believe she is here to be the contrast to those who are trying to divide us. Love wins!
58 year old grandma here… Been a fan since my twin daughters started listening to her when they were in high school.. Taylor’s talent has grown into global success.. she’s brilliant!!
54,years old and just in awe of YOU and HER being so much fun and the entertainment she brings!! Go Travis… 87#❤ And you are AMAZING. AND A Black man… even more prophetic being a man… being a human..: she is beautiful and so are YOU! ❤❤❤
A lot of Taylor's friends are models so she has perfected the catwalk. Taylor has sung at Victoria's Secret shows, her best one is with Fall Out Boy, she looked really awesome. Taylor is 34, and her birthday is December 13 1989.
His comment on her performing when the lights hits her makes me want him to react to “I can do it with a broken heart” but that’s gonna be a long way in this discography
Thank you for being open minded about exploring her music and giving honest opinions. Not many can do that. 👏 just wait until she releases her last 2 re-records. She will reclaim her Reputation and reclaim her name. 👏 we’ve been to 1989 WT, REP stadium Tour, and Eras Tour. She. NEVER. Disappoints. welcome to the journey!
Just a FYI, this song is about her relationship with Harry Styles... The part where she says 20 stitches in a hospital room is about when they were on a snow mobile and wrecked. Harry got cut pretty bad .
Also from this tour check out "I knew you were trouble" she totally does a super dramatic version for the 1989 tour and it's great and not reactors do that one.
Fun fact: when she went back to Australia for the Eras tour she used the stadium from this performance to sell her merch!😂 She had to be moved to the BIG stadium for Eras
Omg your the only one I've ever heard refer to her as a natural dancer. Everyone online slams her for not knowing how to dance and she has said she isn't a great dancer and looks like a baby giraffe when trying to dance but she doesn't care and tries and does a great job. Also she is almost six feet tall so I can see how it would make her feel awkward
All of the movements she makes are in context of the song - reaching out at times, framing her face, pointing at individuals, making eye contact with audience members She's not just moving in standard dance moves . There is a briskness and snap to her style that others don't have. It's mesmerizing - and she interacts with the dancers in unique ways. People like Beyonce "dance" but it's detached from the song -- it seems to be mostly "sexy" jiggling her boobs and booty. Zero emotions conveyed. It's just to get attention on their bodies.
I recommend you How did it end live from the Eras tour, maroon from the eras tour and of course this version on piano live on the Grammy museum and death by a thousand cuts from live from Paris.
I would love to see your reaction to the whole project The Tortured Poets Department. Even if it’s in multiple parts. I’d like to see your insights as the outsider you are to her personal life/fandom. You’ll be able to see the project as the artistic piece of work it is, rather than get caught up with the “cringe” or the gossip of it all.. I think the album divided people simply because of the real life behind it, and we lost track of the talent that went into it! I also think that so many people overlook the level of depth it contains. It’s like a fast pass through healing while not forgetting the level of pain and anger that came with the healing. I don’t know 🤷♀️ sorry for the long comment, would just love to see your thoughts on TTPD!
You need to see Wildest dreams. The 1989 world tour. She is awesome on the piano. I believe she is in Sydney Australia. I will for sure watch your reaction. I love your reaction.
Did you not read which artist and video was going to be reacted to until you started watching it? Or was it more likely you were wanting the content creater to know you've unsubscribed? I think he'll get over it. The fact you've unsubscribed purely based on her name shows how how little you're invested in listening to music 🎶. Every artist has at least one great song in them, you'll never know until you've listen. Definitely your loss. I couldn't count the number of Taylor Swift songs that are more than great ❤. (In reference to @chrispruett81)
Why did you even click on the video if you don't like her? I really don't think he give a shit about you unsubscribing he had gained more subscribers from reacting to Taylor Swift.😠💀

57 here❤
There is video of that visit - it's very heartwarming.
Your admiration for Taylor is so authentic. I appreciate your reactions.
You should see the crowds outside of the concert in Germany this past week, they say at least 40,000 outside on hillsides.
