It isn't that clear if Berserker is derogatory linked to bear( may be Ulfhednar could become Berserkers too? Cults, social organisation may vary by region).

@Azhureus From my looking around, Jarl is an actual term. Jarl being the Old Norse, Earl being the English equivalent. In a piece of media such as Skyrim that uses all English except for a few titles, they could easily get away with using something like Earl. With English being the thieving language it is, seems Jarl became an actual English word. Though used to refer to nobles in Scandinavia.

Paul Hausser+ All "Celts" have been mixed with Germanic people (Saxons, Angles, Jutes, Norse) or died out a long time ago. Nobody today is a real Celt, unless they're inbred. The Celtic people 2K years ago were related to Germanic people, but you're right that Germanic people kicked them out. Celts only really became Celts when they were forced onto the Isles. Prior to that, I doubt you could differentiate a Celt and Germanic on appearance alone.

@@coverstorygirl8162 Hey, so I dont think that you truly have to pick a side on this topic. To be honest if you look at both the Greek and norse gods they are very similar. Sure the stories are different but the meanings and teachings are very much the same. Now while I do believe only in the gods of norse mythology I dont see why it is a problem to put a little bit of thought into those of Greek mythology. I hope this answers your question

Probably not, or maybe to a slight degree ( more hair on the body, longer canine teeth etc. Overall a more wild appearance, hence the werewolf folklore.) But the true transformation was probably on the inside, getting " possessed" or channeling their totem animal through shamanistic ritual. I genuinely believe people in ancient times had more knowledge on how the world actually functions and were a lot smarter( probably more than we are now) than we give them credit for. We tend to focus on science today which is based on limited perception.

I dont use these songs to workout like my friends I use these to channel that inner aggressiveness because I've been doing boxing for 6 nearly 7 years now and when I'm training I play one of these songs because it just for some reason make me hit harder and fight without stopping danheim is the best musician I have ever heard

I cannot, for the life of me, accurately explain how spiritually connected I feel to the wolf. My respect for this incredible animal is immense, and cannot understand how some people will think of it as something evil, or malevolent.

Some of the scenes in the back round are from a Russian film called Viking...May the old gods prosper and Slavs and Nord's live on brothers.
The Ulfhednar were warrior-priests, akin to berserkers, who sought to enter into a trance before battle.
