- Reiða is a mix of Reið and Reiða-
which by some Danish "old Norse" translators believe to be connected to Asathor's carriage, due to thunder happening through Thor's driving through the air. Reiða stands for anger or performing a sacred act.
The Younger Futhark was inspired by the "newly" discovered Thorshammer (Mjølner) in 2014.
The Torshammer, which was the first of its kind with runes, were found in the spring, at Købelev in northwestern Lolland, Denmark.
It simply says, "Hmar x is", which translated into modern Danish means "This is a hammer"

3 years ago my father passed away, since then I was struggling with depresion and some other bad things because my father was all my world to me. Year ago i found danheim and heilung and i must say that their music is giving me some strength i dont know what kind of magic is this but it just give me so much power its srsly crazy i love this and i cant get enough of this stuff... hail old gods and hail danheim!
Mine did too December 11, 2016 at 12:18 AM I was wrought with grief and tears but never depressed and got back to work asap. I still think about him and those last images of him, dead with eyes affixed, to this day. It was very traumatic for me. I'll never get over it or shake those images, his last breath and pulse.

Heilung literally gave me an out of body transcendent spiritual awakening experience that gave me a faith I never thought that I would find. Woden bless Heilung and all they do. I don't think its a coincidence that their band name is "healing." Which is gatherable from the spelling but I was curious and looked up. Sure enough, Heilung has been the medium to allow me to open up and receive healing. For that I will eternally be grateful

What draws me the most to old norse in this song is how rolling their Rrrrr is. So perfectly done.

The last one is valknut, so called knot of death. Some says it represent the 9 world with the 9 corner, some says it represents also eternety and never ending, since it has no begining and no end. Nobody knows for sure, they found carved images in rocks runestones, jewlry from the viking age. Val means death, like in VALhall, VALkyr, and knot means knot.

Is likely better translated as either:
"ᚼᛘᛅᚱ ᛁᛊ" Valknutr (with runes)
or
"hmar is" Valknutr (without runes)
The line is essentially spelling the above which references the inscription "hmar x is" that was found on a very old hammer in Købelev. When translated it basically says "This is a Hammer". So the line in the song is not using the words "Hagall" or "Maðr" but rather the Runes/Letters to spell the inscription. The line in the song is actually similar to "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" by Aretha Franklin when she spells out "Respect".
A bit of Backstory, but the ancient norse Runes/letters share their name with a word that uses the same phonetic sound that the letter represents. So ᛘ is named Maðr (Man) because it makes the "mmm" consonant sound. It's a bit like Nato Phonetic Alphabet that the military uses (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Echo, ETC) in that they represent letters rather than the words forming the letters. For example "Charlie Alpha Tango" does not have anything to do with a person named Charlie, the consept of "Alpha" or the partner dance created in Uruguay/Argentina. Instead it spells "Cat".
"Valknutr" is a modern word to refer to the symbol that we see on a few archeological samples. The word itself is modern as the symbol (three interlocking triangles) is not explained or referred to in historical texts so there are theories on what it symbolized (if it ever had a single thing it symbolized) so "Valknutr" or "Valknut" does not have a translation, it's the word itself.
