You've really really made me want to go to Colombia! I had never been too interested beyond Cartagena and Bogota, but this vlogs are so good at capturing what the country offers for backpacking. I love it. Thanks so much!
Living for your Colombia vlogs! I haven’t even watched this one and I’m so excited! Gets me bookmarking spots for my south america trip too which is especially nice as it may have to be pushed back a year at this rate 😔
Madz Anderson There are so many more places to visit but aren’t that well known, like the Eastern plains or the Amazon. If you want to see the hidden Colombia, this is the best channel: “caminantr3es” (even though is in Spanish). Another excellent RUclipsr about Colombia, an Australian that has been living there for 10 years is “Sam LifeAfar” (top content about the country and places to visit).
It takes some willpower, but I try to save your new uploads for the weekend mornings when I can sit out on my patio and enjoy watching with a slow cup of coffee. 🥰
I‘m so happy and sad at the same time watching your vlogs. I went to Colombia two years ago and we mostly visited the same places as you did. I miss it so much and seeing your vlogs brings back so many great memories. When we went to Tayrona, we slept in one of the tents, which were so incredibly nasty 😁 You were lucky that you got a hammock. You should’ve checked out the little indigenous village “Pueblito” nearby, it was really amazing. Especially the hike, because it felt a bit like an Indiana Jones film. Not a lot of people actually know about this village, so it wasn’t touristy at all.I’m sorry, you had to leave Colombia so quickly. The country and the people are truly amazing. Greetings from Germany 👋🏻
Great video! I've been living in Colombia for over two years in Medellin but haven't visited any beaches yet. This video gave me some good ideas, Gracias! I've recently started making travel videos around Colombia on my channel also. Such a beautiful country!

I never watch vlogs. These vlogs are something else though. How do you pick the places that you will visit in a destination? How do you get informed about the things to de there?
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ I literally just get recommendations from everywhere! - Instagram, blogs, magazines, TV. And pick the destination that appeals to me most 😊
4 years ago, me and a friend packed up our bags and traveled south and central America for 6 months. Tayrona park remains to be one of my fave spots. Sitting at my desk working today, with your vlog on the background literally brings back all the memories!! Absolutely love your vlogs :)
Awesome video, The first half was way too stressful (even for me watching). The ques and the rushing. Such a beautiful location and looks well worth it.
I would loooove it if you made a review on your eagle creek global companion 40L backpack!! I am considering to buy it myself, but not sure if it is too small.. Anyway, I would love to hear your experience with the bag:)
Tayrona is one of the most irritating parks Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting. I went in 2013 and arrived on the beach, after the 5 k walk, to what appeared to be the entire population of Buenos Aires camped out, frat party style. My small group was thinking this is not possible. We hiked over an adjoining mountain and arrived in a pool of sweat at a tiny set of cabanas on a beautiful beach another 5k or so away. . Luckily it was totally empty of tourists but the local insects really had their way with me. Great video as usual!!!
All these Colombia vlogs are making me realise how many beautiful places there are in Colombia!!! 😍 I have been starring them all on google maps but looking forward to a Colombia itinerary video! 😊

Or “Ciudad Perdida”, or any of the many “páramos” like “páramo de Chingaza” or “páramo de Sumapaz”. The Amazon jungle, the huge Eastern plains where you can go on Safaris, etc. There are also snow capped mountains like “Nevado del Cocuy”, “Sierra nevada de Sanata Marta” or “Nevado del Ruiz”.

So I am looking at alternatives, all of which tend to be much more expensive and in the main towns and cities.
love that hostel, Ive stayed there at least 5 times. such a great spot and like you said, great base to stay if you are visiting the national park. watching this video has motivated me to head back to colombia from peru. thank you for the channel, vids and info.
You have knack for finding the unique and picturesque places! Im curious to see how travel will affected the next year or so. Ill be watching your vlogs to get the scoop!
I was there in January, made it a day trip from Taganga. Arrived at 10am, we were lucky to have no horrendous line!! However walked all the way to a beach past Cabo San Juan, enjoyed the day, and started to walk back around 4pm. It began to get dark around 6pm and we took the wrong trail (instead took the trail where they move the horses back and forth- you can imagine the level of horse poo). The shuttle service had stopped and we had to walk the 5km back to the entrance of the park. Wise of you to stay overnight :)
@@byrlink Only just saw your comment. I studied in Bucaramanga for two semesters but travelled across the country. I visited Bogota, Medellin, Santa Marta (& surroundings), Cartagena, Rincon del mar, Valle del Cauca, El Valle on the pacific coast, and many other locations!

Known for its biodiversity, the park is made up of two ecosystems covering more than 30 km of Colombia's rugged northwest coastline. Tayrona National Park is where you'll uncover some of the country's most beautiful blue water coves, white sand beaches, crystalline lagoons and tropical jungles.
