    Not trying to act like a smartass or anything but i was at this stage myself during 2015, my personal advice is to make sure you have somewhat of a stiffer suspension setup, it had a massive effect on my bike for making it pop up easier and remain stable while up. Next would be to avoid making powerwheelies.
    I improved massively when i took my time to just learn getting the front wheel up to the good angle, It's gonna feel like you're going to fall over but once the front wheel is high enough it will be MUCH more easier to keep it there without having to go through gears and fight it with more and more throttle.
    For anyone beginning, please PRACTICE BRAKING FIRST SO YOU DONT BLOW OVER. All i did for a very long while was practicing to create an instinct to immediately brake when you feel like losing control, do that so much until it becomes second nature, then move on to actually trying to gain distance. (Tires can also help, but most importantly a good sproket setup that has more torque and acceleration if you don't have alot of power like on a 50cc)
    Hope i was able to make learning easier and safer for you guys. Safe riding.
    (Edit, remembered a few more extra bonus tips I found useful when I started so i'm putting em here if anyone needs them)
    If you're feeling not so confident.
    Practicing basic short but high wheelies on softer terrain in case of falling ( like grass or soft gravel) can help you get over the mental block of wrecking your bike.
    It can also potentially make it easier getting the front up IF you're using off road tires like I had for a bit on my Suzuki S1 and KTM EXC.
    Another bonus tip would be to practice wheelies on an incline/hill, it makes it suprisingly more easy and can help you learn overall balance which prepares you for proper wheelies later on.

    Great video man. Love seeing progress. Learning on a 125 2 stroke is the best since you really get to learn clutch and throttle control. When you ride a bigger bike it will be so much easier now.

    Tänk inte på hur långt du kommer, utan mer hur högt upp ditt framhjul kommer. På videon ser det ut som att du inte kommer till balanspunkten utan kör mer powerwheelies och det är då du ramlar, för när du väl kommer till balanspunkten kommer dina rpm spika och du kommer inte hinna reagera med bakbromsen. Så försök bara komma till balanspunkten så fort som möjligt. När du väl får upp ditt framhjul till balanspunkten så kan du börja lära dig växla och efter det kommer längden på dina wheelies komma automatiskt. Jag började på ettans växel för att lära mig bakbromsen, sen gick jag till andra för att komma till balanspunkten. När jag var bekväm vid balanspunkten (andra växeln) tog det 1 dag för mig o lära mig växla och sen ökade längden en hel del. :):):):)

    Its been like 3 months of practising wheelies on my 450 wrf.The right foot should always cover the brake.I crashed while i was doing a wheelie in 4th with 100kms only wearing a helmet.Always wear gear even if its hot.Better be hot than burning your skin on the road.

    • @maniacwombat
      @maniacwombat Год назад +5

      the time u can afford for it, it doesnt matter, think about it that way, if u ride 100 hours and Train 1 hour for wheelies , what thing will u doin better on the limit? :)
      i would always recommand plan a bit foreward, and try to always improve by a tiny bit, maybe a bit longer, then a bit higher, a little less speed, a little more speed, and dont overdo it, that guy made a good chopice starting with that "pussy clutching" its save he probably didnt crash a lot, u will see after some time u will recognize a pattern and then u just do it. every body has a other learning curve, and dont be afraid of droppin the bike, if u did axle sliders and some prep ITS FINE :)
