    घर पर बनाये बाजार जैसा आंवला च्यवनप्राश और सर्दी में रहे खाँसी,जुखाम से दूर/Amla Chyawanprash Recipe
    Ingredients
    1/2 kg amla
    200 gm dates
    3 tbsp tulsi leaf
    50 gm ginger
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tbsp fennel seeds
    10 cloves
    10 green cardamon
    1 tsp peppercorn
    2 big cinnamon stick
    4 -5 bay leaf
    1/3 cup puree ghee
    12-15 thread saffron
    350 gm- gur (jaggery)
    1/2 cup honey
    Chyawanprash (also spelled chyavanaprasha, chyavanaprash, chyavanaprasam and chyawanaprash) is a cooked mixture of sugar, honey, ghee, Indian Gooseberry (amla), jam, sesame oil, berries and various herbs and spices.[1] It is prepared as per the instructions suggested in Ayurvedic texts. Chyawanprash is widely sold and consumed in India as a dietary supplement.
    आयुर्वेद में च्यवनप्राश की बड़ी महत्ता बताई गई है। यह एक ऐसा आयुर्वेदिक औषधि है जो बच्चे से लेकर बूढ़े सबको रखता है निरोग। इसे बनाने के लिए 40-50 घटकों की जरूरत पड़ती है। लेकिन मुख्य घटक आंवला है।ताजा आंवला विटामिन सी का बेहतरीन स्रोत होता है। इसे सुखाने या जलाने के बावजूद इसमें मौजूद विटामिन सी की मात्रा कम नहीं होती। च्यवनप्राश में औषधीय महत्व वाली लगभग 36 तरह की जड़ी-बूटियां होती हैं। केशर, नागकेशर, पिप्पली, छोटी इलायची, दालचीनी, बन्सलोचन, शहद और तेजपत्ता, पाटला, अरणी, गंभारी, विल्व और श्योनक की छाल, नागमोथा, पुष्करमूल, कमल गट्टा, सफेद मूसली सहित कई वनस्पतियां मिलाकर च्यवनप्राश तैयार किया जाता है।
    च्यवनप्राश खाने से कई फायदे होते हैं। च्यवनप्राश के सेवन से शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ती है। पाचन शक्ति बढ़ती है और याददाश्त तेज होती है।शरीर में नई ऊर्जा का संचार कर जल्द बुढ़ापा आने से रोकता है। रेस्पिरेटरी सिस्टम को मज़बूत करता है।जुकाम और संक्रमण से आपकी रक्षा करता है।आजकल खाने में कोलेस्ट्रोल की मात्रा ज्यादा होती है। इससे दिल की बीमारी होने का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। इससे युवकों में हृदयरोग होने का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। इसमें ऐसे हर्ब्स होते हैं जो शरीर से टॉक्सिन्स से निकालते हैं और ब्लड सरकुलेशन को बेहतर बनाते हैं।अनोखे हर्ब्स से बना होता है जो रक्त को साफ करके शरीर के नैचरल प्रोसेस को संतुलित करने में मदद करता है।

    Trust me guys ... I tried this today without adding honey and it was really superb.. really tasted better than those storebought chywanprash. Just try to add more jaggery instead of honey and you will be good to go. And one more thing I liked about this recipe was that all the materials was already there in my home ( just bought amla and jaggery from outside which was really very cheap)

    mam all is good but as per Ayurveda we should not cook the honey while preparing anything as it becomes very toxics for health,,,,.....rest all is ok. so we can mix honey after making the chyawanprash and afterwards when its medium warm we can mix the honey...

    मैडम, शहद को कभी भी आग पर गर्म नहीं किया जाता है। अगर चवन्यप्राश में शहद मिलाना ही है तो चवन्यप्राश ठंढा हो जाने पर ही मिलाएँ।

      यह च्यवनप्राश नही है। आवला उबाल कर उसमे किचेन मसाला डाल के पाकने से च्यवनप्राश नही बनता।

    I think you should not add honey while preparing one should add it later on after mixture all cools down a little. Heating honey is prohibited in ayurveda I read somewhere.

    Honey shall be added at last and be mixed when everything in the pot is cold else honey will show negative effects. Honey, if pure, can be consumed after 1000years.
